FALLING IN LOVE

part-22(family moments)

After having momos, KK and Teja decided to have ice cream.

While eating, KK looked at her.

KK: Teja...

Teja: Haan?

KK: Don't think too much about anything, okay?

Teja nodded.

Teja: Hmm.

KK: You wait here. I'm going to the washroom.

Teja: Okay.

KK left for the washroom.

While waiting, Teja noticed a small puppy nearby.

Her face instantly lit up.

She sat down and started playing with him.

After a few minutes, the puppy suddenly started running.

Without thinking much, Teja followed him.

She kept running behind him until she finally stopped.

Then she looked around.

Everything looked unfamiliar.

Teja: Oh no...

She had gotten lost.

Meanwhile, KK returned and couldn't find Teja anywhere.

He immediately started searching for her.

On the other side, Teja nervously looked around.

Teja: Shit... what should I do now?

She took out her phone and then remembered something.

Teja: Great... I don't even have Karan's number.

She looked around helplessly.

Just then, someone tapped her shoulder.

Teja quickly turned around.

It was KK.

The moment she saw him, all her fear disappeared.

Without saying anything, she hugged him tightly.

She was sweating badly and looked terrified.

KK immediately hugged her back.

KK: Teja... relax... I'm here.

After a few moments, Teja calmed down and slowly moved back.

KK: Are you okay?

Teja nodded.

Teja: Karan... I was so scared.

KK: What happened?

Teja looked down.

Teja: I was playing with a puppy and then he started running. I followed him and... I got lost.

Tears filled her eyes.

Teja: I'm sorry.

KK gently held her shoulders.

KK: Teja, look at me.

She slowly looked up.

KK: Why didn't you call me?

Teja immediately pouted.

Teja: I have my phone.

KK: Then?

Teja: It is useless because it doesn't have your number.

KK closed his eyes dramatically.

Teja: You never gave me your number. How was I supposed to call you?

KK: Oh shit.

KK rubbed his forehead.

KK: Sorry.

Teja folded her arms.

Teja: Let's go home.

KK: Hmm?

Teja: I'll tell Mom and Dad this too.

KK laughed.

KK: Mrs. Kundra, don't try to scare me.

Teja: Let's see.

KK: I'm not scared of them.

Teja smirked.

Teja: We'll find out.

KK: Fine. Let's go and see.

Both of them returned home.

As soon as they entered, they saw KM and KD sitting in the hall.

Teja: Mom! Papa! We're back!

KM smiled.

KM: Oh, my baby. Did you enjoy today?

Teja immediately sat beside her.

Teja: Yes, Mom.

Then she pointed at KK.

Teja: But this son of yours troubles me a lot.

KM looked at KK dramatically.

KM: Oh really?

KK sighed.

KM: Tell me what he did.

KK: Mom...

KM ignored him.

Teja immediately started her complaints.

Teja: Mom, from morning he has been troubling me.

KD nodded seriously.

KD: Very bad, Sunny.

Teja continued.

Teja: He said we would wake up at six. I was okay with that.

KK already knew where this was going.

Teja: But this man woke up at five-thirty and made me get up at five-fifty.

Teja looked offended.

Teja: Ten minutes early!

KD shook his head.

KD: Unacceptable.

KM tried not to laugh.

Teja: And you know what, Dad?

KD: What?

Teja: He didn't even give me his number.

KK closed his eyes.

Teja: If I had any work, how was I supposed to call him?

By now, KM and KD were smiling.

KD looked at KK.

KD: Sunny, why are you troubling her?

KK: Dad...

KD: Don't trouble her from now on.

KM immediately supported him.

KM: Exactly.

Then KM turned towards Teja.

KM: My baby, you've been studying since morning. Go and take some rest.

KK looked offended.

KK: Excuse me.

Everyone looked at him.

KK: Even I was working.

KD shrugged.

KD: So what?

KK stared at him.

KK: Did you bring me from a temple?

KD instantly looked at KM.

KD: Oh shit.

KK laughed.

KD: Who told him the truth?

The moment he said that, KM, KD and Teja burst out laughing.

KK stood there shaking his head.

But deep inside, he felt happy.

Very happy.

Because after so many difficult days, he was finally seeing Teja smile and laugh again.
