Teja was busy looking through different shopping apps while KK sat beside her quietly.

But instead of looking at the phone...

He was looking at her.

A small smile was present on his face.

Teja suddenly felt his gaze.

She looked up.

Teja: Whatttt?

KK immediately looked away.

KK: Nothing.

Teja narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

Teja: Hmm...

KK simply smiled.

After some time, Teja finally completed ordering everything she wanted for the balcony.

She put her phone aside and turned towards KK.

But this time, she noticed something.

KK wasn't looking at her anymore.

He was looking at the sky.

And there were tears in his eyes.

Teja's smile disappeared instantly.

She knew what it was.

He was missing Abhi.

Her own eyes became moist.

Slowly, she moved closer.

Teja: Karan...

KK immediately blinked and wiped his eyes.

KK: Haan?

He tried to act normal.

But Teja had already seen the tears.

Teja looked at him softly.

Teja: Are you okay?

KK nodded.

KK: Yeah...

Teja didn't believe him.

Teja: You can share it with me.

KK looked at her.

Teja gave him a small smile.

Teja: I'm your friend, right?

For a few seconds, KK remained silent.

Then he looked back towards the sky.

KK: Teja...

His voice was heavy.

KK: I've never felt this way before.

Teja quietly listened.

KK: I haven't just lost a friend.

KK: I've lost a support system.

His eyes filled again.

KK: He was always there.

KK smiled sadly.

KK: And even while leaving...

KK shook his head.

KK: He still didn't want me to be alone.

A tear rolled down his cheek.

KK: That stupid fellow trusted me so much...

KK: That he placed his sister's hand in mine.

KK looked down.

KK: I don't even know what to say sometimes.

By now, tears were flowing from both their eyes.

Teja couldn't bear seeing him cry.
