It was the day of Teja's last exam.

Like every exam day, Karan was driving her to college.

Karan: Teja, all the best. And I know you'll do your best.

Teja: Thank you, Karan.

Soon they reached the college.

Karan came around the car and opened the door for her.

Karan: Go and finish your last battle, Mrs. Kundra.

Teja: Yes, sir.

She saluted him dramatically before running inside, making Karan laugh.

Three hours later...

The exam was finally over.

Teja walked out of the exam hall with a huge smile on her face.

Her eyes immediately searched for one person.

And there he was.

Just like every single day.

Waiting for her.

She reached the car and knocked on the window.

Karan, who had fallen asleep while waiting, slowly opened his eyes.

The moment he saw her, he smiled.

He immediately unlocked the door.

Karan: Hi. How was the paper?

Teja quickly sat inside.

Teja: Fab!

Karan: Really?

Teja: Really.

Then she suddenly turned towards him.

Teja: And you know what?

Karan: What?

Teja: Thank you.

Karan: For what?

Teja: For everything.

For waking up with me.

For teaching me.

For forcing me to eat.

For taking care of me.

For supporting me.

Because of you, I could focus on my exams.

You're the best.

Karan smiled softly.

Karan: It's my right, Mrs. Kundra.

Teja smiled.

Then Karan started the car.

Karan: Now come. I have a surprise for you.

Immediately Teja's eyes widened.

Teja: What?

Karan: Surprise.

Teja: Karan!

Karan: Surprise means surprise.

Teja: Tell me.

Karan: Nope.

Teja: Please.

Karan: Nope.

Teja: Fine. I'm not talking to you.

Karan: Okay.

Teja folded her arms dramatically.
