Ruby was bedridden for a few days. Dean was being very protective and not letting her get up until she was completely rested. Sam made store runs for them while Dean never left Ruby's side.

"Stop treating me like a kid!" Ruby yelled, irritated as she couldn't even smoke and her unstable emotions from her Ectoplasmic blood were rising.

"You are a kid!" Dean yelled at her, they had been like this for a few hours now.

"I've never been a kid! Just let me fucking smoke!" As Ruby yelled this the lights flickered.

"Why do you need to smoke?!" Dean exclaimed, getting tired of the freaky ghost powers his sister had.

"So I don't lose control and kill someone!" Ruby yelled as the furniture started shaking.

"Fine!" Dean exclaimed reluctantly, throwing her pack of cigarettes back at her.

"Thank you," Ruby said a bit calmer as she went outside to smoke.

Sam came back to find her smoking but decided not to ask as she looked pissed. He walked inside and gave Dean his pie before putting the rest of the food away.

"She's smoking?" Sam asked Dean.

"Apparently it keeps her under control. It got freaky in here." Dean said, looking at the door.

"Acts like you and has freaky powers like me," Sam said shaking his head.

"Our family really is cursed," Dean said with a sigh.

Ruby got a phone call and looked confused, not many people knew her number. Still, she answered, the way this world was she had a small hope it was Tommy.

"Hello?" Ruby asked into the phone.

"Ruby! My parents are missing! You told me to call if I ever needed help!" Ruby heard the terrified voice of Brian from her hometown.

"Brian?! Calm down, explain to me what's going on" Ruby said calmly as she put out her cigarette.

"My parents went searching for a missing girl yesterday, a lot of people have been going missing here. But their search party lost contact after dark and still haven't been found." Brian said he was freaking out.

"Breath Brian. I'm on my way. Give me a day." Ruby said, walking towards her motorcycle.

"Please, if you can find my parents Ruby," Brian said desperately.

"Kid, I'll do my best," Ruby said before hanging up.

Ruby turned on her motorcycle and Sam and Dean ran out at the sound "Ruby!" Dean yelled.

"I've got a case!" Ruby yelled putting on her helmet "Monsters to kill, People to save! I'm a hunter, remember!"

"Where?" Dean asked.

"Tillamook Oregon!" Ruby yelled before speeding off.

"Sammy let's go!" Dean yelled getting in the Impala.

Ruby parked in front of Brian's house. The 15-year-old boy ran out and hugged Ruby. He was happy to see her and he had been terrified for the last two days.

"It's okay Brian. I'm here" Ruby said Ruffling his hair.

"More people have gone missing" he cried into Ruby's shoulder.

"Let's go inside, I need you to tell me everything," Ruby said softly.

Brian nodded and lead Ruby inside the house. She sat in the living room while Brian began to explain what was going on in the town. As he explained to Ruby, her brothers also entered the town.

"Two weeks ago a group of kids went missing, and were later found dead in the forest." Brian started to explain. "More and more people started going missing in the forest. Now my parents..."

"I'll find them, Brian." Ruby said softly "starting now." Ruby said getting up and leaving the house.

Ruby took off towards the morgue where she needed to see the bodies. Thankfully she knew how to sneak in. She parked her bike nearby and began to walk toward the morgue.

Sam and Dean were talking to the sheriff about the disappearances. They were posing as FBI agents that had heard all about sudden disappearances in the forest. The sheriff was currently leading them to the morgue.

Ruby was looking at the bodies, she was mentally mapping out the injuries in her head. She almost had the answer when the morgue door opened. She turned quickly and saw her brothers with the sheriff.

"Who in the!" The sheriff exclaimed before looking for a moment "Ruby! Ruby fucking Winchester!" He screamed.

Ruby quickly started running for the window but the sheriff grabbed her. "Let me go!" Ruby yelled, struggling.

Sam and Dean couldn't do anything without blowing their cover. So they had to watch in surprise as this played out.

"Do you have any idea how worried your parents have been, you troublemaker!" The sheriff yelled, dragging Ruby out of the room.

"Fuck you! I'm not going back!" Ruby yelled trying to get away.

The sheriff pushed her into a cell and locked it before turning to Sam and Dean, "Local Problem child, she is famous for beating up the local kids and running away. It has been nearly four years since she last ran away and her parents have been worried sick" the sheriff explained.

"They haven't been worried! They never cared!" Ruby yelled, hitting the bars.

"She looks pretty upset, are you sure you should be holding her?" Dean asked trying to control his anger about this situation.

"She's still a minor. Her parents will pick her up soon, let's return to what you were here for." The sheriff said, leading Sam and Dean away.

Ruby let out a scream of frustration as Sam and Dean looked at each other trying to figure out what to do. They finished up in the morgue quickly and went to check on Ruby. When they came back she was gone, her foster parents came to get her.
