Ruby walked into Bobby's house and was ambushed with a hug from Ellen "Those boys haven't told me anything about how you were doing" Ellen said looking over Ruby.
Ruby chuckled "This was not an expected reaction"
"As far as I'm concerned you're my kid too," Ellen said as Bill stood behind her.
"I see you still have Bill around," she said smiling at Bill.
"He's made a habit of speaking to us through the Car radio," Ellen said with a smile.
Ruby then hugged Bill, he became visible as she hugged him, "I missed you, Grumpy old man"
"I missed you too, Stubborn kid," Bill said, hugging Ruby back.
Ruby then smiled at Jo, "Hope you're giving him trouble, he deserves it"
Jo chuckled at this "Mom does that enough for both of us"
Ruby laughed and went to grab a beer. Her brothers arrived as she did this and caught up with Ellen and Jo. Ruby just popped open a beer and listened to Bill catch her up on everything.

"I can outdrink all of you," Ruby said excitedly when Jo suggested they did shots "Except him," she said pointing at Cas.
"Actually I want to see if you can out-drink him," Dean said looking at Cas.
"I'm down to try, how many times could someone say they had a drinking contest with an angel," Ruby said smirking at Cas.
"We may all die tomorrow," Cas said sitting at the table across from Ruby.
"No one is dying if I can help it," she said firmly.
Jo began to pour a line of shots for Cas and Ruby. Once the shots were poured Cas and Ruby began downing them. Cas went slower as he wasn't used to drinking, Ruby however was speeding through them. About two hours later Ruby had her head on the table unable to drink more.
"Do I win?" Cas asked, barely even buzzed.
"You win," Ruby said weakly "Everything is spiny and blurry"
"I've got her," Sam said as he effortlessly picked up a wasted Ruby.
Sam carried Ruby off to a spare bedroom in Bobby's place. He set her on the bed and watched her quickly pass out. He chuckled a bit at her sleeping form and went back to the others.
"She's asleep now," Sam said.
"I don't want to bring her," Dean said sternly.
The nearby radio sparked to life "You'll piss her off" Bill said through it.
"Bill's right, Ruby is a stubborn one, I've heard some stories. She's coming whether we bring her or not" Ellen said.
Dean sighed "So the best way to keep her safe is to keep her close"
"That's the only way," Bill said through the radio.
Dean wasn't happy but he looked at Sam. Sam gave Dean a nod, they could protect her, and help her be happy. They had to.
