Tommy had just drunkenly stumbled out of the bar. He had been drinking, a lot, all he could think about was how he hurt Ruby. If he had just told her the truth, he could have been by her side.

Tommy bumped into someone on the way to his Roadrunner. He fell to the ground and a mid-30s-looking woman with red hair looked at him. She bent down to help him up.

"A little drunk tonight?" She asked, her voice sounding unnaturally friendly.

"I'm fhine" he slurred out, not trusting the woman.

"Come with me young man, you could help my daughter," she said holding onto him before starting to drag him away.

Tommy tried to fight, but he was too drunk. He reluctantly got kidnapped by a woman in her 30s, she dragged him to an abandoned building across from a strip club. Tommy stopped fighting by now, too drunk and depressed to care.

"Ruby my dear, I'm home, come help me with the sacrifice!" The woman called out.

Tommy looked in surprise as Ruby walked down the stairs. He felt so confused but he saw her emotionless face and gray eyes, and he knew Ruby was in trouble. Ruby grabbed Tommy and dragged him up the stairs and to a room filled with blood.

"Ruby?" Tommy asked, looking at her.

She didn't speak, just held him in the room. Tommy was sobering up fast now, Ruby needed him. This time, he wasn't going to leave her.

"Ruby, what's wrong? Talk to me" Tommy said, placing his hand on her shoulder.

Ruby looked at him and Tommy could see her fighting whatever was controlling her.

"You can't talk can you?" Tommy asked softly.

Ruby slowly nodded.

"Is that your mother downstairs?" Tommy asked carefully.

Ruby nodded.

"Didn't she die when you were four?" Tommy was trying to figure out the situation.

Ruby nodded.

"So she's back from the dead, is she controlling you?" Tommy asked his brain starting to put the pieces together.

Ruby nodded.

Tommy looked into Ruby's eyes. She was still in there, but she wasn't in control. "Is she a witch?" Tommy asked.

Ruby nodded again.

Tommy sighed and hugged Ruby, he didn't know what to do. "I won't leave you this time," he whispered.

Ruby's arms wrapped around him, but it was loose. This little control was all she could grab. She wanted so much more but she didn't feel so scared with Tommy here, that was something, that was hope.

Tommy looked at Ruby's face, he had an idea, a stupid idea. Tommy softly placed his hand on Ruby's face and then kissed her. His heart beat loudly as he did this, and his face heated up. Ruby was still for a few moments until she kissed back, her arms wrapping around him tighter, she was back.

Katherine came into the room seeing this "RUBY!" She screamed out. When she realized Ruby wasn't under her control anymore she changed her course. "Didn't realize you were a whore my dear."

Ruby broke the kiss "says the woman who let John Winchester nut in her!" Ruby was fully back, and she was pissed.

"And you just let some random man kiss you," Katherine said with a sneer.

"This isn't a random man, this is the man I love. But it doesn't matter because you don't have a right to say shit!" Ruby yelled as she felt Tommy holding her arm gently.

Katherine took a deep breath "I will make you watch him die"

Before any of the three could do anything, Lucifer walked in the door. "Ruby, how's Sam?" He asked seeing what was going on in the room.

"Probably worried about me, since my bitch of a mother mind controlled me," Ruby said glaring between Lucifer and her mother.

"Ruby, who is that?" Tommy asked softly.

"The devil, Lucifer himself," Ruby said angrily.

"Well, this family reunion is a little heated, Katherine let's try this later," Lucifer said with a smirk "We want her to be willing, not forced" and with that Lucifer and Katherine vanished.

Ruby fell to her knees "oh im in so much trouble" she muttered.

Tommy knelt in front of her "I'm not going to pretend I understand what is going on, but I'm here for you, I'm not going anywhere. Not this time"

Ruby put her head on his shoulder "My mother sold me to demons when I was a child, but before they could get me, my dad, John, killed her and put me in foster care." She explained softly "im a weapon, I was made a weapon."

Tommy ran his hand through her blood-red hair softly "You may have been made a weapon. But you grew up to be something better. Im proud of you" he said, kissing her forehead.

Tommy picked Ruby up, now completely sober from his night of drinking. He was going to at least get her out of this building, then once he took care of her. Figure out how to contact her brothers.

Tommy lay next to Ruby as she slept, her hand gripping his shirt like she would die if she let go. He smiled softly, underneath all her sass and drinking was a broken child. Sometimes it was easy to forget, she had been alone for so long and it was his fault.

He closed his eyes looking at her face. Oh, how he wished he could just take all her pain away. He placed an arm around her and fell asleep holding her. A few hours later Tommy woke up, feeling Ruby move.

Tommy opened his eyes "Ruby?" He asked seeing her now off the bed.

"I need to smoke," she said pulling out a cigarette.

"Let me join you," Tommy said getting off the bed.

Ruby and Tommy stood outside in silence as they smoked. It was peaceful as they watched the sunrise. Ruby leaned her head on Tommy's shoulder as she put out her cigarette.

"Can we stay like this forever?" Ruby asked softly.

"No, we need to tell your brothers that you are safe. It's already been a few hours, but you were my first priority" Tommy said smiling at Ruby.

"I would call them but I tossed my phone while being controlled," Ruby said with a sigh.

Tommy then pulled out his phone "What's the phone number of your favorite brother?"

"Don't ever tell them that I have a favorite" she muttered typing in Dean's number.

Tommy called the number, he had no clue what to say. As the phone rang he looked at Ruby, she was lucky to have such protective brothers. The call connected and Tommy's mind went blank as he heard Dean say hello.
