Chapter Sixteen

Ruby found herself in this really bright room. White and gold everywhere, it just screamed Angel. Ruby groaned, hating everything about this room.

"Alright, you dicks with wings! Get me out of this bright ass fucking room!" Ruby yelled angrily.

Zachariah appeared in front of Ruby "Wow, you act just like Dean." He said.

"Bite me asshat!" Ruby exclaimed, throwing a golden statue at him.

It hit him and he didn't even react "You really lack manners." Zachariah said, fixing his suit.

"Clyde said the same thing," Ruby said with a smirk "but he forgot to teach me"

"Let's see if you're such a smart ass with... internal hemorrhaging in your lungs," Zachariah said as he pointed at Ruby.

Ruby coughed up black blood "That's a new pain," Ruby said seemingly not bothered.

Zachariah looked at Ruby confused "How are you still standing?"

"Spite," Ruby said with a smirk.

"Let's add a little more then, how about... Lung cancer, stage four" Zachariah said pointing at Ruby.

Ruby wheezed for a few moments until she breathed normally again "That sucked, stop fucking with my lungs."

"How!?" Zachariah yelled angrily.

"Spite is powerful, fluffy wings," Ruby smirked.

Zachariah infuriated, left Ruby alone in the room. Ruby chuckled and grabbed a statue then walked toward the wall. She was not staying here, the angels could kiss her ass.

Ruby found out something pretty young that she will never tell her brothers. She has enhanced strength due to her blood, she can lift a car if needed. Ruby took the statue in hand and drove a hole into the wall with all her strength.

She worked quickly making a hole large enough to crawl out of. Crawling out of the room she ran, she needed to get out. The angels couldn't see her as she was a blind spot, and by the time they realized she was gone, it was too late.

Ruby found herself in Orlando Florida, she groaned. "I was literally in Oregon, dick" she muttered.

Ruby walked into a gas station and bought cigarettes. She stood outside and took out her phone, she hadn't given her brothers her number yet, nor gotten theirs. However she knew Sam's number, she saw Dean dial it before.

She typed in the numbers and called Sam. "Hello?" Sam said into the phone, he sounded hung over.

"Jeez, really cut back on the Whiskey Sam" Ruby said into the phone.

"Ruby!?!" Sam exclaimed.

The sound of the phone being taken was heard then Dean's voice "Ruby where are you?"

"Those dicks took me to some bright-ass room. Met Zachariah, and he kept fucking with my lungs" Ruby said shaking her head "I broke the wall and got out, now im at a gas station in Orlando Florida."

"Stay right there Ruby, Cas is coming to get you," Dean said, hanging up the phone.

A few seconds later Cas appeared before Ruby. "I am relieved you are safe," he said.

Ruby hugged Cas "I'm tougher than I look Cas," she said.

Cas hesitantly hugged back, not used to this type of physical contact. Still, it felt nice to him, especially since he could tell Ruby was scared. She played it off like nothing but he knew better, she was terrified because of what happened to her.

Cas took Ruby back to Sam and Dean while she hugged him. Both appear in the motel room Ruby pulled away from the hug as Dean pulled her into another. It was silent but they didn't need to talk. Ruby was back safely.

"Ruby, Cas is going to put angel scribble on your ribs now," Dean said, pulling away from the hug.

"Alright," Ruby said.

Cas placed his hand on Ruby's chest and she grit her teeth in pain. Once done she looked at them all watching her with worry. She just gave them a smile, she wasn't going to show them that she was afraid, and never would she let her fear control her again.
