Chapter 24

3rd Person POV

1 week later

Shao Fei and Zhao Zi are sitting at a table waiting for Jack and Tang Yi to get out of class. Their class had ended early and they wanted to get something to eat together but decided to wait on their boyfriends. As they were waiting, Zhao Zi was asking his daily questions of how it's going living with Tang Yi. Shao Fei thought of it as Zhao Zi wanting a daily report of every single detail no matter how small and he was a bit annoyed but answered them anyway.

"Really? Are you sure there isn't anything else?" Zhao Zi asked for the millionth time when Shao Fei gave him a basic answer of "everything's fine" when asked how living with Tang Yi was like.

"How many times are you going to ask me that? There's really nothing else. It's a nice place. It's much bigger than my dorm. But the only thing is that there's bodyguards watching our every move. Tang Yi said I'd get used to it soon but I'm not completely sure."

"Well at least you can spend some time with your precious boyfriend. All cuddled up together at night, watching movies together, making dinner and feeding each other." Zhao Zi teased him.

Shao Fei kicks him in the ankle. "Oh, shut up will you."

Zhao Zi's yelps in pain and rubs his ankle, but still has a teasing smile on his face.

"Ok, enough about me. What about you and Jack? How are you two?" Shao Fei asked, wanting to change the topic.

"Well, it's going pretty well. He's really nice and takes care of me. He still teases and annoys me sometimes. Like how he always calls me shorty and messes up my hair even though he's well away I don't like either of those things. But sometimes I'm really worried about him. I know what kind of life he's a part of and I don't want him getting hurt. I know he can take care of himself, but I can't help worrying about him."

Shao Fei nodded his head. "Yeah, I get what you mean. I worry about Tang Yi too. Sometimes I just want him to get up and leave this kind of life but I know there's no way it would be that easy. So, I guess I just have to wait until there's a chance for him to leave, I guess."

Zhao Zi could see the distant look in his friend's eyes.

"Hey but they're both tough people. There's nothing and nobody that can beat them. I can assure you of that." He said in an enthusiastic voice to lighten the mood.

Shao Fei smiled at him. He did have a point. Tang Yi was a tough person and he's witnessed that himself.

Just then Shao Fei sees Jack and Tang Yi coming in their direction. Tang Yi sat down next to Shao Fei while Jack comes up behind Zhao Zi and wraps his arm around him in a playful manner.

"Hey shorty, did you miss me?" Jack asked with his infamous smile on his face. Zhao Zi looked at him, annoyed by the nickname.

"No, I didn't and stop calling me that." Zhao Zi said and pushed Jack away, which Jack placed his hand over his chest pretending to be hurt.

"Oh Zhao Zi, how could you do this to me? I'm hurt now."

"No, you're not stop being dramatic."

Tang Yi and Shao Fei watched as the two bickered, both trying his best not to laugh out loud.

"So how was class?" Tang Yi asked.

"It was fine. It actually ended early but we wanted to wait for you two. How about you?" Shao Fei asked.

"Oh, our professor was so boring, I was close to falling asleep." Jack complained. "Zhao Zi, give me some strength." He said and leaned his entire body weight on Zhao Zi.

"Jack stop, get off me you're heavy." Zhao Zi complained and tried pushing him off but Jack was holding him tightly. "Jack come on, let's get something to eat. I'm starving."

The four of them got up and headed to the cafeteria. They all got their food and sat down. They talked about random things. Jack was teasing Zhao Zi the whole time and Tang Yi and Shao Fei sat back and watched as Zhao Zi was constantly complaining. They finish eating and start heading back to class.

"Shao Fei, let me walk you to class." Tang Yi said.

Shao Fei nods his head. Tang Yi takes his hand as they walk, just talking about anything. When they reach Shao Fei's class, Tang Yi places a quick kiss on Shao Fei's lips.

"I'll see you after class."

Shao Fei smiles at him and nods. He kisses him back and heads into the room. Tang Yi waves goodbye before heading back to his class.

The day ends and everyone is heading out. Shao Fei is in front of the building with Zhao Zi waiting for Tang Yi. After a few minutes Tang Yi comes out with Jack. Shao Fei says his goodbyes and he and Tang Yi head to the black car that's waiting for them.

When they get back home, they both head up to the bedroom and collapse on the bed in exhaustion.

"Go ahead and take a shower first." Tang Yi said.

Shao Fei groans. "No, I'm tired. I need a nap. You go on first."

Tang Yi chuckles at him and grabs his stuff and heads to the bathroom. He takes off his clothes and turns on the water checking the temperature before stepping in.

When he gets done, he steps out the room in a towel and sees Shao Fei fast asleep. He smiles at how cute he looks. He quietly gets dressed not wanting to wake him up. When he gets done, he carefully sits next to him lightly stroking his hair. He places a kiss on his forehead.

Then someone knocks at the door. Tang Yi gets up from the bed and goes to open the door. It's one of the bodyguards.

"What is it?" Tang Yi asks.

"Sir would like to talk to you in his office." the bodyguard said.
