Tang Yi is a university student who's also secretly the son of a mafia leader. He falls in love with the innocent, kind, and happy Shao Fei, but keeps his distance from him because of his secret life.
Shao Fei is the poor university student who work...
"Come on, give me the details." Zhao Zi begged, clinging to my arm as we walked to our first class.
I rolled my eyes, "I already told you, we just ate at a diner, talked, and when he brought me back, he asked me if we could hang out again."
"That can't just be all. What did you talk about? What did you eat? What did he eat? Did you guys do anything?" He said the last part in a teasing way.
I whipped my head towards him. "No, we didn't do anything. And stop clinging to my arm." I said in a stern voice and walked ahead of him.
"I'll get the whole truth out of you A' Fei."
I turned to look back at him, "We'll see about- WHOA"
I had bumped into someone, and I saw papers fly to the floor.
"A' Fei are you ok?" Zhao Zi ran up to me.
"I'm fine."
I quickly squatted down and started helping the person pick up his stuff.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
"It's alright, accidents happen."
I had collected some papers and looked up to see the person's face.

I stood up and handed him the papers, "Sorry again."
"It's fine. I'm Lhong by the way, I'm new here."
"Shao Fei."
Lhong gave me a bright smile. He seemed nice, so I smiled back.
"So, what's your first class? I can show you the way."
"Oh, it's this one." He said and showed me a paper with his schedule.
"Oh, we have the same class. We can all go together."
As we started walking, Zhao Zi started attacking Lhong with a bunch of questions. I apologized about Zhao Zi's behavior, but he just laughed and said it was fine. He explained that his other university wasn't right for him, so he transferred here. We eventually made it to class and took out seats.
"So, Shao Fei, could I hang out with you during break?"
"Sure, Zhao Zi and I can hang out with you."
"No, I mean, I just want to hang out with you." He then placed his hand on top of mine, "I want to know you better."
I saw his expression change and I started to feel uncomfortable. I took my hand away from him.
Then the teacher came in and everyone quieted down and took their seats. During the lecture, I could see that Lhong was staring at me from the corner of my eye. I couldn't concentrate, but I couldn't confront him in the middle of class, so I just tried to ignore it. I didn't even notice how much time had passed when the teacher announced the end of class. I snapped out of my thoughts and gathered my stuff.
"So, what's your next class?" Lhong asked me.
When I told him, a small frown formed on his face.
"Well, could you walk me to my next class?"
I was hesitant, but I agreed. I turned to Zhao Zi.
"Hey Zi, I'll be taking Lhong to his next class."
He nodded and walked out. We both stood up and walked to Lhong's next class. We didn't talk, but I could still feel Lhong's gaze. This time I turned to confront him.
"Why do you keep staring at me?"
He chuckled, "Sorry, it's just, you're really pretty."
I looked at him in shock. I'd never been called pretty by a complete stranger.
"Um, thanks, I guess." I mumbled.
When we finally reached his class, I mentally gave a sigh of relief.
"So, here's your class. If you need help finding your next one, just ask the teacher." I started to walk towards my class.
"I'll see you during break?" Lhong called out.
I didn't answer. I honestly just wanted to get away. Lhong was giving me some weird vibes.
Tang Yi's POV
It was the final class before break time. I really wanted to see Shao Fei and tell him that I was free this weekend. I would've just texted him, but I didn't want to get him in trouble in class. Finally, what seemed like an eternity, the teacher finished up and everyone started packing up their stuff. I quickly packed up and headed out the classroom.
"So, you're in such a rush to see your boyfriend that you forgot about your best friend?"
I turned to see Jack was already outside the class, leaning against the wall with a cigarette in hand. He gave me his infamous smile as he took a puff.
"He's not my boyfriend."
"Not yet at least."
I rolled my eyes at him, "You should put that out, before a teacher sees you."
He flicked the cigarette to the side.
"Anyway, you are going to see him, right?"
"Why does it matter to you?"
"It doesn't really. I just want to see his cute friend."
I rolled my eyes, "Let's go."
We headed towards the cafeteria. When we arrived, I noticed Shao Fei was with Zhao Zi. We were about to walk up to them when another person walked up to them. My eyes widened as I saw who it was. Jack looked at me in shock.
