Chapter 29

3rd Person POV

The group had finally arrived at their destination. They parked their cars further down the road and out of sight, hiding them among the trees surrounding the area. They all got out and started preparing themselves, checking the bullets in the guns, checking and handing out the smoke bombs, and putting in their earpieces. After everyone is done, they look towards Tang Guo Dong for their next order.

"Alright now, Team Black you head towards the south side of the house, Team Red you head towards the east side, Team Blue you take the west, Team Gray you're with me and taking the north, and Team White head towards their vehicles and make sure none of them have a way of escaping. Everyone holds position until my signal. Now, go." Tang Guo Dong says.

They all start heading through the woods towards the house, getting into position and staying hidden among the trees.

"Team Black is in position sir" A voice said over the earpiece.

"Team Red is in position" Another voice says.

"Team Blue ready"

"Team White, ready to go"

Tang Guo Dong checks his gun and looks towards Tang Yi who nods his head indirectly saying "I'm ready".

"Go." Tang Guo Dong says.

The different groups started breaking down doors and windows, setting off the smoke bombs. Shouts of confusion are heard from the enemies before gunshots are fired causing them to scramble in different directions. Team Gray enters the house and starts spreading around.

"All Teams, report current status." Tang Guo Dong says.

"Team Red is now entering." A voice said.

"Team Black is inside. Currently in a shootout." Another voice said.

"Team Blue is inside as well. Starting mission now."

"Team White, we're almost finished destroying their vehicles." 

Then gunshots are fired at Team Gray and they all scramble to hide behind something. They fire back as they try to make their way to the stairs. They manage to defeat the group shooting at them and they head upstairs. Gunshots are heard throughout the house, bodies are dropping, shouts are heard from both sides, and smoke is surrounding them.

When Team Gray makes it up the stairs, more gunshots are fired at them. Tang Guo Dong and Tang Yi dive behind a wall to shield themselves from the bullets as they get into a shooting match. They all start shooting, ducking into hiding, reloading, and shooting again.

Suddenly, Tang Yi sees Anurak trying to get away. Even in the smoke, he can still see that it's him.

"Dad, Anurak. He's there." Tang Yi says and points him out.

Tang Guo Dong looks around the corner and sees him just as he's out the doorway.

"We have eyes on Anurak. He's heading north. All available units block any exits he could possibly use. Don't let him get away." Tang Guo Dong says over the earpiece and continues shooting at the group.

"Team White is heading north now." A voice said.

Team Gray manages to finish up the opposing group and gets out of their hiding spots.

"All Teams, what's your status?" Tang Guo Dong asks.

"Team Black, we're finished on our side."

"Team Red, all cleared out."

"Team Blue, west side all clear."

"Sir, this is Team White. We've captured Anurak. We're on the north side now. What would you like us to do with him?" A voice asks.

"Keep him there. I'm on my way." Tang Guo Dong says.

Team Gray follow behind Tang Guo Dong, walking pass all the bodies spread around and heading outside. They head to the location and see Anurak surrounded by bodyguards, on his knees, and blood running down the side of his face.

He looks up and sees Tang Guo Dong, anger filled his eyes.

"So, Tang Guo Dong, you're the one who did this. You pathetic, disgusting, vile, bastard. I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS!" Anurak says as he lunges towards Tang Guo Dong.

His bodyguards quickly grabbed him and forced him to his knees. Tang Guo Dong moves closer to him standing over him and looking down at him with a cold gaze on his face. Anurak looks at him with all the hate and anger in the world. Tang Guo Dong waves his hand and the bodyguards let him go and step back, their hand on their guns just in case.

"Anurak, you can't kill me. Your clan is finished. You have nothing left in your pathetic, little life."

Tang Guo Dong takes out his gun and loads one bullet into it. He raises it to Anurak's head, his cold gaze still on his face while Anurak still looks at him with anger and hatred.

"Burn in hell." Tang Guo Dong says and he pulls the trigger.

Anurak's body slumps backwards, blood seeping from his head. They all just stare at his body for a moment before Tang Guo Dong snaps out of it.

"All teams, clean everything up. Take any injured ones to the cars and take them to our hospital. I want an account on how many of our people we've lost. When everything is done, everyone reports to the hospital."

Tang Guo Dong walked away with the bodyguards following behind him. Tang Yi looked back and took one last look at Anurak's body before walking away.

At the Hospital

Tang Yi is leaning against a wall as he watching Tang Guo Dong talking to a bodyguard. He overhears him saying that they've lost 15 of their people with many of them injured, 3 of them having serious injuries and being placed in the ICU.

Tang Yi walks away and heads towards the roof. He heads towards the railing and leans against it. He still couldn't believe that everything was finally over. Lhong is still alive but he's long gone and they've made sure he won't be causing any more trouble. Anurak's dead and his clan is finished. Now they can finally go legit and live a normal life. It may take a long time, but he's willing to do it if it means being with Shao Fei.

'SHAO FEI' Tang Yi shouts in his head.

He pulls out his phone and immediately goes to Shao Fei's contact. He presses the call button and after one ring, he picks up.

"Tang Yi." Shao Fei said, his voice filled with relief.

Tang Yi smiled at the sound of his voice saying his name.

"Tang Yi? Are you there?" Shao Fei called out to him.

"Shao Fei, it's over."
