That smoke-filled kiss was what changed the trajectory of your first year.

The two of you had known each other for four months now, the new year starting off better than either of you had expected it to. Not even a week into the spring term and you were already finding new stressbusters. 

PDA was kept to a minimum, with the two of you continuing like before. Of course, because of this, no one realised that the two of you were together. Sure, rumours were spread, but people took one look at you and decided they were all false. Both of you looked so stoic around the other, not even letting it slip past a crack that you both liked the other.

'You've got leaves in your hair,' Bakugou sighed one afternoon, flicking it off with his palms. 

'Oh, I didn't notice,' you mumbled. 'Thanks, Katsuki.'

The two of you were stood at his dorm room's doorway, getting ready to head to class together. For the past two months, ever since you started dating, the two of you walked to class together, playing it off as talking about coursework so others wouldn't get suspicious. Overall, it was going fine until that moment.
