- Bakugou's POV -
It felt like hours of waiting before a nurse finally came to speak to the group waiting outside, each of them getting more and more jittery with every passing second.
"You guys must be Miss L/N's entourage, right?" The nurse checked.
"Yes ma'am," Jirou nodded.
She was the most levelheaded at the moment, since the other three were much closer to you, and thereby multiple times more worried than she was. That didn't mean that she wasn't nervous herself. After all, Bakugou had seen Jirou pace the halls at least fifty times and she'd also grabbed multiple coffees for herself and for the rest of them.
"Does she have any siblings currently.... present?" The nurse asked.
Bakugou froze at that, turning to meet Kaminari's eyes, who pointedly focused his gaze away from the blonde.
"She doesn't have siblings, right Dunce Face?" Bakugou grit out.
"No ma'am, she doesn't," Kaminari answered, ignoring Bakugou.
"What about a partner?" She continued.
At that, everyone turned to look at Jirou, who only glared at the rest of them and motioned for the next question.
"Alright, then I'll need the closest friend here to make a decision," she sighed.
"That would be me," Shinso mumbled.
Bakugou saw how Kaminari's entire resolve came crumbling down, his face paling even more, making the redness of his eyes unnervingly obvious.
"I'm sure you all know this, but her father-" she began, only for Shinso to interrupt her.
