"We're back!" Jirou heard Midoriya call.

She immediately dropped you onto the floor, straightening up to make it seem like she was checking on you after you fell, instead of her catching you before you fell. Wouldn't want people getting the wrong idea, no matter how oblivious they were.

"Midoriya-kun," you greeted, standing up. "Nice, takeout!"

"To make up for the gun that can't take us out this break," he groaned, collapsing onto the couch. "Oh, before I forget!"

The green haired boy immediately scurried away, digging for something in his bag before bringing it out to show you. A newspaper. How interesting. But when Jirou saw you looking down at it with more emotion than she thought possible, she got curious and went over to see what you were looking at.

'Tokyo's most iconic athlete duo wins yet another match!'

Woah.

You and Kendo, celebrating as you held the cup high. It had a few pictures from your matches as well, your most amazing serve from the day alongside Kendo's strongest play. Of course, this was the prefecture wide newspaper, which tended to be more general than city-specific ones. The daily newspaper always lay on the common room's coffee table, since people like Iida and Bakugou actively checked it each morning. Jirou subconsciously gravitated towards it, curious to see if you were featured on there as well. Since both of the news readers were out of town, they had yet to read the article.
