"I can see every thought loud and clear etched onto your face," you'd finished.

Jirou paled at that revelation.

Did that mean you also knew about....

No.

There was nothing for you to figure out, nothing for you to know.

"So.... tell me more about this person?" Jirou offered awkwardly.

Now, it was your turn to pale. However, you quickly regained composure and sighed.

"I'd rather not," you muttered.

"Alright," Jirou nodded hesitantly, unable to say anything else. "Does Denki being kind of.. uhh- depressed today have anything to do with this friend?"

"He blamed himself for something this friend did to me," you sighed. "He didn't know in the beginning, but he overheard me talking with... another friend of his, and put the pieces together. Those first few weeks after he found out were the worst, nearly as bad as things after October. But we're over it now, except he still can't forgive himself."
