"It's a long story," you sighed, noticing Jirou's expectant gaze on you. "One even Kaminari doesn't know."

The two of you stayed silent, the only noise in the room being the regular beeping of your heart-rate monitor.

"You don't need to tell me!" Jirou blurted, waving her hands frantically. 

You looked up at her, curious. From the way she handled conflict, and how empathetic she was to other people's turmoil, it was clear that she'd had her fair share of experiences. Kaminari never knew, you figured out that much, knowing very well how sensitive he was to those close to him suffering for whatever reason.

"I wouldn't mind telling you," you admitted, beckoning her to take a seat on your bed. "After all, you were there for me back in Christmas when no one else was. You were the only one who held me once I found out how close to death I truly was. You were there to face my father when no one else could."
