"I hope you know how much I despise you," she panted. 

"Love you too, Kyoka," you smiled. "Think about it this way, you get some fresh air and we get breakfast. You wouldn't want me opening my stitches walking around, would you?"

Jirou froze at that. Things were risky during your operation, the doctors couldn't guarantee your life. Of course, you hadn't been informed, but the chance of death was abnormally high. Only Kaminari and her knew, and they were strict about keeping that information under wraps. That was the biggest reason she offered to do things for you, like going for a quick jog outside while she picked up breakfast for the two of you. 

The idea of you putting your life at risk was far too scary for her. Perhaps the only thing scarier was the idea of living without your presence being a constant in her life.
