Kendo, Yoshida and you stuck around for the remaining matches that day, eagerly watching them. Yoshida, who'd apparently gone against one of them, kept on giving you pointers of things to watch out should you go against her.

You smiled, and took the help she offered, even if there was a chance that it would be of no use to you. The three of you watched the intense match currently going on in center court, between Tama and Kokubunji. You'd seen neither girl on the train, something you weren't complaining about.

Takahashi from Tama put up a good fight, with the first set in her favour, at 7 - 5 games. The second set was in Susami's favour, with the Kokubunji student winning 7 games to 5. They were evenly matched. Soon their last set came about, where they were tied 6 - 6, at a deuce in the game as well. The two went in and out of the deuce, with the parties switching advantages each time. After at least another half an hour at that stage, Susami finally got the point, causing the stadium to erupt into cheers.
