''How much longer until we get to her house, shay?'' Why is she stalling us? I want to get this over with and head back to the pack and help Alina.

''Just over this hill and around the pond. Why are your panties in a twist right now?'' She did not just say that to me.

''Oh, I don't know. Shay, maybe because my daughter is a ticking time bomb right now.''

''I am sure everything is fine back home, Claire. Won't it take you a day to get back home, anyway?''

How would she know if she does not have her magic to use her magic ball to spy on people?

''Well, yes, but I want to get this over with quicker. No offense, but you are already annoying me. I just hope I am there in time before she blows ups, and that seal comes undone. Why did she move father away from the main buildings, anyway?''

''No clue, after some guy fucked her and stole from her, she left her house and took one of the abandon cabins near the kingdom. I think she was spying on the king of werewolves for some odd reason.''

Maybe she likes him. Who knows? I just need this one thing and I hope her father isn't some high power guy.

After a 30-minute walk, we come across a black cabin and her wards are tricky to take down. I was going to surprise her, but once I cross that line, she will know some vampire was here. I crossed over and got shocked, which caused me to yelp. That fucking bitch, I swear. I walk through to door and next thing I know knifes are being thrown at me left and right. I dodge each of them easily. She needs to work on her aim.

She has not changed one bit since I left years ago. Here goes nothing.

''Would you fucking stop, Lucy? I don't enjoy being attacked for no reason!'' She peeks her head out from behind the wall, wide eyes and her mouth wide open.

''You know if you keep your mouth open like that, a fly will fly in your mouth and try to choke you.''

''Oh, fuck you Claire, what are you doing here?'' She crosses her arms together and gives me a bored look.

''I am here for my favor. You still owe me.''

She laughed and smirked at me, knowing I would come back and ask for it. ''Go figure you cash it in sooner than later, I guess.''

''I need to see who Alina's real father is.''

She gives me another bored look. ''That's all you want to know? Nothing else to add on to it?''

What an earth would I need to know besides my daughters' real father? I can figure mom out later. Maybe I should ask her about Alina's dark magic.

''I would like to know how powerful she will become when her magic seal breaks.''

''That second might be hard since she is not with you. The other one is a pretty simple spell for me. So, you really did cheat on Jeremy, you naughty girl.'' A naughty sound come out of her sassy mouth.

''Oh, shut up, sorry I can't be perfect like you, Lucy! I wasn't even his fated mate, so it had no effect on me or him. I left him for another reason.''

''Do I want to know what his ass did?''

''I don't know, plus it doesn't matter anymore since Alina's mate killed him a few weeks ago.''

She laughs, wipes the fake tears from her face. She can be dramatic.

''He raided a witch coven many years ago by the king's orders and slaughtered the coven leader which is Alina's mates' mother and he escaped and went to the element witch coven and Eugene wants revenge even though his mate's father killed he. He still wanted revenge and once she found out what he did, she didn't even shed a tear for him.'' She went from laughing to a serious face within seconds.
