***GENEVA POV***
Once I walked off stage to applause, I felt a little better. The whole week had been shit and I was just ready for something to go right, and it seemed like performing was it. I walked to the bar and handed my guitar to the bartender.
"You know I wouldn't usually hold this back here for anyone." He said and I groaned.
"But you are also my brother, owner of the bar and love me so win, win, win for me." I said smiling as he handed me a glass of club soda.
"Who said I loved you?" Gary said and I laughed tossing some pretzels from the bowl on the bar at him. Gary walked away and I just looked down at the bar and sighed. I suddenly felt someone standing next to me and I looked up to see him looking at me. I noticed his blue eyes first, the little bit of green in them and how even in the dim bar light they had a sparkle in them. I smiled at him.
"Hey, I'm Chris." He said extending his hand and I smiled sweetly at him shaking his hand. "Loved the song." Chris continued.
"I'm Geneva and thanks." I said shaking his hand. It was then I took in the whole man and noticed who he was. I knew who he was, there was no mistaking it but I also wasn't going to make it known that I did, I was sure he hated that.
He just stood there for a few seconds, and he finally chuckled.
"Sorry...I just don't know exactly what to say." Chris said and I laughed.
"Walked over and no pickup line at all? Kind of disappointed, I've heard them all." I said and Chris laughed. He pointed to the stool next to me.
"Well, I would love to hear what you've heard so I know if I should even try." Chris said sitting down and I laughed.
"Okay well let me think...there's cheesy, there's disgusting, there's ones that cross the line. What do you want to hear?" I asked and Chris laughed again.
"All of them." Chris said and I laughed.
"Okay well there was one that was so insane. It was I hear you're looking for a stud. Well, I've got the STD and all I need is you. That guy got me walking away from him annoyed." I said and Chris rolled his eyes.
"Is that the worst you have heard?" Chris asked and I shook my head.
"Do you work at Subway? Cause you just gave me a foot-long. That one made me throw a drink in a guy's face." I said and Chris nodded.
"Well deserved." Chris said.
"Then there was one that I think you will enjoy a lot..." I said with a smirk.
"Let me hear it." Chris said.
"This Captain America has been frozen in ice for ages. Wanna warm me up?"
Chris just chuckled and dropped his head.
"I mean I guess it was my own fault, I wore a Captain America shirt to the bar." I continued with a smirk.
"Well, it's clear you notice me." Chris said and I laughed. I tapped the brim on the baseball cap he was wearing.
"This doesn't really hide your identity." I said and he smiled.
"No?! Really thought it did." Chris said sarcastically.
"Not in the slightest." I said.
"Well around town I don't really care, no one really makes a big deal about who I am. When I'm home I'm just me." Chris said and I half nodded.
"Must be nice to not always have to wear the actor façade." I said and he nodded.
"It is." Chris said with a sigh as Gary came over.
