I got home and didn't tell anyone I was home. I got home and slept most of the day and night knowing I needed to be refreshed for this interview. I wanted to do the best job I could.

Once my interview was over, I texted my brother.

GENEVA: Hey, you home?

He answered quickly.

GARY: Yeah, just me and Britney, she off today. How is Hawaii?

GENEVA: It's...tropical.

GARY: That doesn't sound good.

GENEVA: I'll explain later. Listen, I'm about to go out. We'll talk soon.

GARY: Okay, love ya.

Little did he know I had gone home and got into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt to wear out and about to be comfortable. I parked my car on the street in front of their house then called another number before I went inside.

"Hey! How's Hawaii?" Scott asked and I groaned knowing Chris told no one I was home.

"Um...I wouldn't know, I'm back in in Boston." I said.

"Why?" Scott asked in shock.

"Long story. You want to bring Dodger home tonight and we can talk?" I asked.

"Yeah sure, what time?" Scott asked.

"5 should work." I said.

"Okay, see you at 5." Scott said and I smiled.

"Thanks. Bye." I said and we hung up. I then walked up to my brothers front door and knocked. Gary opened the door and looked at me in shock.

"You're supposed to be in Hawaii!" He said and I laughed shaking my head.

"Yeah, well not when I get called to come home and have a job interview. Can I come in?" I asked and he nodded as I walked in, and I saw Britney. I hugged her once I got to the living room. Once we all sat down, they just looked at me.

"So, you're here..." Gary said, and I nodded.

"Yeah, well I had an interview at Massachusetts General Hospital today. It got pushed up, I was supposed to have it after vacation, but it had to get pushed up, so I had to leave Chris in Hawaii." I said and they just looked at me and I sighed.

"How are you dealing with that?" Britney asked and I shrugged.

"I mean I don't like it, but I didn't see him much while I was there. He was working and everything so what's the difference of being in Hawaii and alone or in Boston alone...?" I asked and Gary looked at me and shook his head.

"Don't do this Geneva."

"Do what?!" I asked pissed off.

"Second guess this whole thing with Chris."

"I never said I was!"

"You're thinking it! You know you are! Chris and you are perfect." Gary said and I sighed.

"Listen, I'm not second guessing anything with Chris. I love him and I want to be with him. I guess I never knew what it was like for him when he was on set. I mean when we were in LA he was in meetings, home at a certain time and we had a lot of time to go out. I rarely saw him in Hawaii. I guess the only thing I would be thinking about is if we go the distance and want to have kids...will I be alone in it all?" I asked.

"Have you voiced these concerns to him?" Britney asked and I shook my head.

"No, because I don't want to scare him away. I mean I don't even know where we are going. I have moved in, and everything is working out perfectly. I don't want to scare him away now. I just want to get time with him when he isn't worried about running somewhere to film or do press or go to a premiere." I explained.

"It's something you need to have an open conversation about Geneva." Gary said and I sighed.

"I will I promise...eventually." I said and Gary just nodded knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere with me at this point in time.

"So, you said you had in interview?" Britney asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, I'm tired of not working and I saw an opening for the children's ward at the hospital for a floor nurse. I went for it." I said and Gary smiled.

"I hate to keep bringing the conversation back to Chris, but you know he is going to want you to go to premieres with him in the upcoming months..." Gary said, and I nodded.

"I already talked to her about that in the interview and she said they can work with me." I said and they both smiled.

"How do you think it went though, think you have the job?" Britney asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know, I will know in about a week." I said and she smiled.

"Well keep us posted." She said and I nodded.

***CHRIS POV***

It was a week after Geneva left me in Hawaii and I was just ready to get home. I wanted to hold my girl and my dog that I knew Scott dropped off after she had been home for a few days. It was the middle of the night when I walked into the house, and I quickly turned the alarm off before it started going off loudly. Dodger came running to me and I smiled.

"Hey buddy." I said and loved him.

Once I got Dodger under control I headed into the bedroom, and I saw Geneva sleeping. She was sleeping on her side of the bed but in one of my shirts and I smiled. I never told her I was coming home, I wanted to surprise her. I got undressed and quickly got into bed.

I rolled over to face her and I smiled as I leaned in and gently kissed her lips. She fluttered her eyes open and looked at me.

"Welcome home!" She squealed and wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me. I just held on to her. I heard her sniffling as she hugged me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked pulling her back from me.

"I'm just so happy you're here. I really missed you." Geneva said and I chuckled slightly.

"I missed you too babe." I said and gave me another small kiss.

"Let get some sleep though. We can talk more in the morning." I said and she nodded and was quickly asleep as I held her, which is where she would always be.
