A few weeks later, Chris and I were on the flight to Hawaii, and I knew it would be a long flight. Chris was sleeping next to me as I was wide awake. I couldn't sleep and I knew the jetlag was going to kill me once we landed but I would do what I could to get on a schedule. Chris and I were flying in a private plane, he said it was easier when we had to go somewhere.

I was sitting with my headphones on watching a show and giggled waking Chris. I paused the show and looked at Chris since he was sitting next to me.

"What are you watching?" Chris asked and I smiled at him.

"Only Murders in the Building." I said and he half nodded.

"Steve Martin and Martin Short, can't go wrong." Chris said and I nodded.

"And Selena Gomez isn't bad either." I said and Chris just shrugged. I then gasped and looked at Chris. "Weren't you linked to her before the whole PR thing?" I asked and Chris groaned, rolling his eyes.

"Yes, all because I like the show and I followed her on Instagram." Chris said and I gave him a small smile.

"What about the last girl you followed on Instagram? You linked to her?" I asked and Chris chuckled, leaning over and gave me a small kiss.

"I would hope so, I'm on a plane with her on our way to Hawaii." Chris said and I laughed. I cuddled into him, wrapping my arm around his and leaning my head on his shoulder, he rested his head on top of mine.

"So, you have work to do for how long?" I asked and he sighed.

"About a week and half. It's not an everyday thing so I will be off someday and able to see you." Chris said and I nodded.

"Chris, its fine. I know you have to work. I will honestly be fine laying on the beach and not having a care in the world." I said and he laughed.

"Well, that sounds amazing and hate I will miss it." Chris said. We were both silent for a minute and I sighed.

"Chris, when we get back home...I have a job interview." I said and he lifted his head off of mine and I looked up at him.

"Oh...this is what you were talking about at dinner that night?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I wasn't sure what was happening because I hadn't heard anything." I said and Chris sighed.

"Where will you be working?" Chris asked.

"If I get the job Massachusetts General Hospital in the Childrens ward." I said and Chris looked at me.

"I thought you loved working at the nursing home level?" Chris asked and I shrugged.

"I did but with the nursing degree now I went where I could get better job opportunity and I wanted to a change." I said and Chris smiled at me.

"Well, I hope you get it babe." Chris asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know I mean it's a huge opportunity. I'm nervous but I know it's a good move." I said and Chris nodded.

"Exactly. And you get this relaxing vacation before you have the interview." Chris said and I nodded.

"I need it, for sure." I said and Chris smiled. I placed my head back on his shoulder and he went back to resting on my head.

"Can I ask a question?" I asked.

"Of course." Chris said.

"Why are you going to Hawaii to film scenes for a Christmas movie? Doesn't feel very Christmassy." I said and Chris chuckled.

"You'll just have to wait and see." Chris said and I huffed a laugh and then yawned. "Rest Eva, get some sleep so you aren't tired when we land." Chris said. I gave a small nod as my eyes closed and I quickly drifted off to sleep.

Once we landed, I was happy I got a nap on the plane due to the fact that we hit the ground running. Chris and I got to the hotel and had enough time to check in, freshen up and then head to a cast and crew dinner.

I wore a maroon sundress with a simple flower design on it and wedge heels. As Iwas slipping on my shoes Chris walked out of the bathroom in a cream-colored button up short sleeved shirt with maroon strips and a pair of black dress slacks.

"Chris, this is so matchy match." I said and he laughed and walked over to me as I stood up.

"Yeah, didn't plan on that when we packed did we?" Chris asked and I shook my head.

"No but it's okay..." I said and he smiled. He linked my arm in his and we headed down to the hotel restaurant where the dinner was being held. Once we walked in we were shown back to a private room without Chris saying anything and when we walked in I saw a room full of people and one person who seemed to be commanding the entire room and my grip on Chris's arm tightened. He chuckled.

"You forget he was in the movie with me?" Chris asked and I nodded. Chris was spotted by the other star of the movie.

"Chris! Great to see you man!" Dwyane Johnson said and shook Chris hand.

"Great to see you too. Dwyane I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend Geneva." Chris said and he smiled at me and went in for a hug for I hugged him back. Once we broke apart he looked at me.

"It's great to meet you Geneva, once I saw pictures of you two together I was hoping Chris would bring you." Dwyane said and I smiled.

"Well, I was happy to join him. It's great meeting you too. I'm excited to be here." I said and he smiled.

"Well enjoy dinner and I look forward to seeing you around." Dwyane said and I nodded. He was called away and I looked at Chris.

"I just met Dwyane Johnson..." I said and looked at Chris as he laughed. We went to sit down.

"You have been so cool and calm meeting these people. It kind of shocks me. Most people would be freaking out." Chris said and I smiled.

"Actors are just people and I'm sure they have enough people fawning all over of them. I mean I have been starstruck and in shock meeting everyone, but I don't want to fangirl in front of these people. I mean think about when I met you. I was pretty cool and gave you the worst pick up lines I had ever gotten." I said and Chris nodded with a smile.

"Thank god I didn't use one, if I had we may not be here." Chris said and I half nodded.

"That's highly accurate." I said and he smiled leaning in to give me a small kiss.

As we sat at dinner, I was sitting with the ring box in my pocket knowing it needed to be a private affair, maybe a walk on the beach after dinner but this proposal was going to be the best part of this trip, I would make sure of it.
