Chris and I walked into the restaurant in downtown LA called California Pizza Kitchen. I smiled seeing the pizza place and it was just what we needed. Something low key and quiet. As we waited for someone to seat us Chris put his arm low around my waist and pulled me close to him. I looked up at him and smiled. He leaned down giving me a small kiss.

"Why did we leave the house again?" Chris mumbled against my lips, and I smiled as I nipped his bottom lip.

"Because you wanted to go out and get dinner. We could have gone grocery shopping and I could have cooked." I said and Chris shook his head.

"No way, this may be a work trip for me but is vacation for you. I talked to Gary, and you haven't had a vacation in years. It's time." Chris said and I smiled. The hostess walked up and saw us.

"Only the two of you?" She asked and Chris nodded.

"Yes, and a corner booth please." Chris said and she nodded as we followed her near to the back corner and she gave us the booth. Chris slid in and then motioned for me to move right next to him in the curve of the table. I giggled as he put one arm around me and then picked up the menu with his other hand.

"What looks good?" Chris asked and I looked at the menu then looked at him and leaned up to his ear.

"You." I whispered and then kissed his neck subtly below his ear. I felt his pulse quicken and his grip tighten on me. I smiled at him.

"Evil." Chris said and I laughed as I went back to the menu. I smiled seeing a pizza that looked really good.

"Buffalo chicken ranch pizza." I said and Chris nodded.

"Sounds good." Chris said and I smiled. The waitress came over and we ordered the food and drinks. We were just sitting enjoy the company of each other. I was about to start talking when someone came walking up to the table. Chris tensed beside me, and I knew her instantly.

"Chrisy! You're in LA! Did you know I would be, and you came to see me?" The Ex asked approaching the table.

"No, as you can see, I'm here with Geneva." Chris said. She sneered at me, and I glared back.

"So, I see you don't care about me and Chris being together in New York and spending the night together...tangled up in each other." The Ex said and I looked at Chris and he growled as he clenched his jaw.

"We never spent the night together, stop it. You have nothing on me right now and as you see I'm still with Geneva. She didn't believe your games for a minute." Chris growled and she just glared at both of us.

"You'll be back when you tire of her." The Ex said and walked away. Chris relaxed as she did and then kissed the top of my head and I sighed.

"You weren't with her, were you?" I asked in a small voice, but I couldn't even look at Chris. He placed a hand under my chin and turned my head for me to look at him.

"No, I was never with her. I swear to you Geneva. I spent most of that night on the phone with Ma wondering how to win you back." Chris said and leaned down to give me a small kiss.

"Will she ever go away?" I asked and he sighed.

"Yes, I promise. I will get a restraining order if I have to." Chris said and I smiled.

We sat just trying to get back to enjoying each other's company when I noticed something.

"I need to use the ladies room. I will be right back." I said giving Chris a short but passionate kiss.

I walked into the restroom making sure on one else was in there and locked the main door. I leaned on it and just waited for the stall door to open. Once it did, I was met face to face, alone with the Ex.

"Can I help you?" She asked me.

"Yeah, you can actually. Back off Chris." I said and she huffed a laugh.

"Excuse me?"

"I don't think I stuttered. I also know I spoke perfect English, so you'll listen to me when I say stay away from Chris." I said and crossed my arms. She started washing her hands and just shook her head with a smile.

"What Chris and I had -..." The Ex started to say.

"What you and Chris had was fake! It was PR! There was a contract! He didn't love you and I'm sorry if you're delusional and thought he did and you loved him, but it wasn't real. What Chris and I have is real, he loves me, and we are planning a future together. Moving forward in what we have, and you just need to back off. Go back to wherever you came from before you got your hook in him and leave us alone." I said and she walked right up to me, and I stood my ground. When she saw I wasn't backing down she seemed shocked. Then smirked at me.

"I will back off when Chris says to."

"And he has so open up your fucking ears and back off. I'm seriously not going to tell you again. If we see you again, I will have Chris call his lawyer and work on a restraining order. I will make sure it's public knowledge too. How do you think it will look in the media if the girl that they didn't know was PR relationship now had a restraining order against her? I mean I know you want to be big in Hollywood but that's not the way to do." I said and she backed away from me slightly when I pushed myself off the door and took a step towards her. "Now I would suggest if you are here with someone you all leave and go eat somewhere else and make sure you are never somewhere Chris is ever again." I said.

"Does Chris know how pushy and scary you can be?" She asked.

"He has never had a reason to see it and he never will. Now, I'm going to unlock the door, I want you gone, and I don't want to see you in the restaurant when I get out there after I wash my hands. Do I make myself clear?" I asked and she nodded. I unlocked the door and moved over to be by the sinks. She placed her hand on the handle of the door.

"Just don't hurt him, he is a nice guy." The Ex said.

"I don't plan on it. I love him and he loves me." I said and she just half nodded and walked out. I leaned on the counter and looked in the mirror. I couldn't believe I did what I just did...was I insane? No, I was protecting what was mine. Chris was mine and she needed to realize that. I took a deep breath, washed my hands and walked out of the restroom. When I got to the table Chris was smirking at me as I slid in.

"What did you do?" Chris asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked putting on an innocent act.

"I just saw her leave the restroom and then gather up people from her table and leave rather quickly. So, I repeat, what did you do?" Chris asked and I shrugged with a smile.

"Just reminded her of who you really wanted to be with." I said and Chris smiled shaking his head.

"Geneva Collins, you are one amazing woman, you know that?" Chris asked as he placed a hand on my cheek.

"I just don't like anyone thinking they can have what's mine." I said and Chris smiled and leaned in giving me a passionate kiss. We didn't break apart until the waiter cleared their throat when they dropped the food off.

"Can we actually get that to go?" Chris said once we broke apart. The waiter smiled and took the pizza away to pack it up. "Me wanting to go out to dinner was stupid." Chris said and we laughed as the pizza box was brought back to us. Chris threw money down on the table for the tip and to cover our drinks. He took my hand, grabbed the pizza with his other hand and then we headed out quickly to get home.
