as for juno, there were no other options for her other than foster care so after a few impulsive hours and maybe a shot i became her legal guardian. it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be probably because i had tony stark sitting beside me in the courtroom. no one knew who the hell i was or why he had chosen my case so we just passed it off as us being good friends. he also helped us out and got us an apartment in queens despite my room that steve had requested for me at the avengers compound. "our new mother needs space. besides her room's open anytime she wants to escape her little ankle biter." he said making steve roll his baby blues at the billionaire.

juno and i got along great, especially after she got comfortable enough to show off her very loud and very flamboyant personality. the avengers adored her when we would go to the compound after she begged for hours on end. i couldn't tell if thor or natasha was her favorite. thor would fly with her sometimes around the compound while natasha would play fight with her or let her fiddle with the gadgets that wouldn't kill her on sight. i would catch her napping with steve occasionally in the living room or helping wanda cook her random emotional support dishes. tony would steal her sometimes as well, i'd find her running around with his ironman helmet on her head with him chasing after her with a grin.

we had to sit her down a few weeks ago when i told them that she would be starting school. "so what grade is she gonna be in like 10th grade or something?" tony snickered as the small girl stood up on the leather sofa with a scrunched nose. "i am 10 uncle tony! i'm going to 5th grade!" she jumped on the sofa slightly as she spoke before wanda came to sit beside me and scooped up the small girl to sit on her lap. wanda and i had gotten very close very quickly in the past year. if i wasn't at the compound we would be on the phone usually or she would sneak out and come to the apartment. the first few months were bad, she cried most of it away, but as she got closer to vision and i she got better slowly.

"you know you can't say you know us right, j?" natasha stroked the girl's hair as she passed to sit on the other sofa beside steve. thor wasn't here currently as he had returned back to asgard a few weeks before. she nodded making her curls sway back and forth, "yeah aunt nat," she looked back at me with a grin and i nodded at her. she was mad at first that she couldn't brag that her family was the avengers but once she realized that she was the only one that had that right she got over it. "i'm already cooler than them then." she had said to me when we had talked about it in the car coming over here.
