𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖌𝖗𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖉 𝖘𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖐 𝖚𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖗 𝖒𝖞 𝖋𝖊𝖊𝖙 𝖆𝖘 𝖎 𝖇𝖔𝖑𝖙𝖊𝖉 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊. once i joined sam, bucky, and rhodey i watched as the new spaceships fell through the atmosphere above us . one hit the barrier that protected the city but the other five landed in the forest not far away. an alarm sounded not a moment later and the people of wakanda immediately began to evacuate. "god i love this place." i heard bucky mumble to himself as the rest of the team began to join us outside. i knew wanda would stay behind with vision as protection while shuri operated on him. then once it was out she would destroy it so the thanos guy couldn't get his hands on it.

bucky left with the group as they made their way to the vehicles that would take them to the barrier. sam, rhodey, and i prepared to join them from above. "time to hop on that broom huh kid?" sam smirked to himself as he referred to buckys joke from earlier. rhodey snickered to himself as the war machine suit formed over his leg stilts until it covered his whole body. "don't make me embarrass you bird brain." i sent him a playful glare as his wings spread out behind him. i turned the glare to rhodey instantly making him cough back his laughter. "aw come on! you're still mad at me?" rhodey groaned obviously thinking back to our time in germany. truth was i was still a little peeved but i got that if he hadn't done it he would have gotten in trouble with the asshole that was in charge. still, i could hold a grudge until the day i die. i sent him a shit-eating grin before taking off into the air.

"come on kiddies time to kick some alien ass."

i landed beside bucky as he gazed a the forest in front of us. the five ships had imbedded themselves into the wakandan soil and down below from where we all stood on the hill steve and natasha had met two of the aliens to chat. im guessing it didn't go so well when they returned with sour looks on their faces. when they rejoined us nat stood beside me giving me a small smile. "hey nat nat." i mumbled the nickname juno used trying to ease the tension on her beautiful face as much as i could in this situation. she shook her head smiling down at her boots as this really wasn't the time for it. "did they surrender?" i heard bucky ask steve as he joined his other side. "not exactly."

the ships started to shake and the shrieks of alien creatures could be heard even from where we stood. the woman below raised her sword with a loud yell and the horrid creatures began to spill from the treeline. t'challa and his soldiers began to chant all around us but i could only focus on the aliens as they bashed themselves into the electric border until they fell to the ground limp. "what the hell?" i couldn't help the terrified look that fell on my face as i watched the creatures die or slowly slither their way through to us.

the border tribe was quick to raise their weapons at t'challa's order and they opened fire on the creatures instantly. sam flew over us and i was quick to lift off after him. the ones that got through i separated their heads from their bodies or slammed them into the ground until they no longer moved. rhodey let loose some bombs on the edge of the barrier getting rid of the remaining aliens. "uh guys!" the aliens had begun surrounding the city granted they weren't far but it would take them long. "cap if these things circle the perimeter and get behind us there's nothing between them and vision." bruce said over the comms, he was clad in the old hulkbuster suit as his alter ego wasn't wanting to come out to play. "well we better keep them in front of us." steve replied stoically.
