my body jolted up from the rubble i had been laid on. juno's grip on my shoulders tightened as she helped me sit up straighter, my body aching as i went. my hand held my forehead, it felt like it was about to explode any second and i no doubt had a concussion from the obvious fall we had taken. juno's cheeks were dirty but from what i could tell just from looking at her she was ok, thank god. my hand separated from my head and i tried to ignore the blood that coated my palm. "are you ok?" she tried maneuvering her hands over my head to stop the bleeding but i took her wrists and brought them back to her sides. "i'm fine, juno. save your energy for now." she nodded hesitantly before we looked at the fallen avengers compound around us.

my ears rang as we slowly stood up and i ignored the lightheaded feeling that washed over me. juno stiffened at my side. as she pressed a finger to the comm that was in her ear, mine must have busted in the fall down here. "what is it?" i asked trying to step closer. to the earpiece. her brows drew together as she listened in on the rapid conversations that were probably going through the line. her jaw dropped after a moment before she looked back up,"steve said t-thanos is here."she said to me nervously biting her lip before her ears perked up again as she spoke," we copy rhodey. where are you what's happening!?" i could hear the chatter from the earpiece slightly just before she took my hand and both of us dropped through a portal at our feet. the sudden movement made my head spin, that was until we were swept away by the water that was flooding into this level of the wreckage.

"shit!" my head popped up from the water as i forced juno up with me. i spotted rhodey, rocket, and bruce not far from us as they desperately tried to hold up a huge pile of rubble. the open space was flooding fast and there was no way we could escape through anything. my head bobbed up and down in the water as i pushed towards them to be under the pile of rubble as well. i couldn't make a portal down here with all this water so for now i gripped the rubble trying to lift it up at high as i could with my power. juno shook beside me as she did the same. rocket let out a cry beside me as his wet ears pressed down on his head in fear. the water was rising fast and there was nowhere to go. we were stuck here now.

"see you on the other side guys." i heard rhodey's struggling voice rasp over to us. the rubble around us shook and fell into the water that was going to drown us. there was no doubt a fight happening above us now. i didn't know who made it out of the destroyed compound but i hoped they were kicking ass up there. the cave was on the brink of collapse now as i tried to lift the rubble up with everything i had. my back pressed against the stone and a yell left my lips. water began to fall down the rubble weighing it down on us even more. juno screamed at the sudden jolt of weight and bruce tried to keep it up for her. "guys! i'm here hold on!" scott appeared from the water right in front of us now his normal size. "just hold on." he pressed the button on his hand and as he grew he took all of us in his hands. he cupped his fingers over us as he rammed through the destroyed compound. those of us gasping for air inside the little cacoon he had made were trying to get our heads on straight. we were rising up from the destruction to the fight that was unraveling above us all. i didn't know how thanos got here but he slivered his way through somehow so we had to finish this once and for all. "is everyone alright?" bruce groaned as the destruction grew louder as scott grew by the second. we all nodded slowly. rhodey had his suit on once again beside me and rocket shook off the water from his fur. "would anyone happen to have an extra earpiece?" i ask looking out the small crack of scott's fingers as the smoke-filled sky got closer. rhodey shuffled lightly searching his suit before shoving one in my ear. "keep ahold of that one will you."
