King's POV
I wasn't sure what I said, if anything even came out of my mouth, as I lunged from over Leo. Kiki fell to the ground, but in a rage, I plunged into the one who hurt her and Leo, slamming his back into the wall behind him. Glass shattered around us as something hit my ribs, but I didn't let it stop me. My vision went black as I threw my knuckles into that prick. I would kill him.
I didn't stop until something cut into my arm, making me slow my fist as I was just about to punch his face again. He used it to dodge just in time. I punched into a picture frame still hanging on the wall. The slight pause from the pain of the glass ripping threw my knuckles gave him all the time he needed to grab me and roll us, pinning me against the wall. My hand burned from the pain, but I didn't have time to think about it as something smashed into the side of my head.
My legs gave out, and before I knew it, he was on top of me, punching me in the side of my face. I couldn't think as my mouth filled with the taste of blood. Hands wrapped around my throat, snapping my dazed brain back into the situation.
I looked up, gasping for air to see the darkness in his eyes. "Too bad. I was more than happy to let you watch as I fucked Leo some more, but looks like you'll miss it again. His ass was begging for more," he said with a smirk on his face.
Like hell I'd ever let him touch Leo again. I choked for air as I managed to loosen his grip by punching into his rips as hard as I could, hopefully breaking them. He let out a groan, and I was able to flip us over, clocking him a few good times in the face with my uninjured hand. Blood splattered across the side of the couch when I broke his nose. His body went limp after that hit, making me stop and pant on top of him, trying to catch my breath.
My legs were a little wobbly as I stood up, using the arm of the couch as a crutch. I needed to see if Leo and Kiki were okay, but I didn't make it a few steps before I stumbled into the coffee table.
"King!" Leo yelled, making me look up at him.
He was sitting on his knees holding Kiki as she lay next to him, tears streaming down his face. The look of utter fear in his eyes broke me. A gash sat just at the end of his eyebrow. His eye on the same side was half closed from swelling, and more blood covered the side of his head and ear. Red marks from the tight cloth wrapped around his face covered his cheeks. Looking down at his legs, I saw his pants pulled back up now.
My eyes darted to Kiki. Her hand was next to the knife in her stomach. Her face was pale, but she was breathing and blinking her eyes at me. She was alive, but she needed a hospital as soon as possible.
"I'm so sorry," Leo began to sob as I practically crawled over to them.
My arms pulled Leo into the safety of my arms as Kiki nodded her head. I could tell how hard she was trying to stay calm, breathing slowly in her nose and out of her mouth.
"My phone's in my... pocket," Kiki breathed out.
Pulling out the knife would most likely make the bleeding faster, so I carefully reached over and found her phone. There were a bunch of missed calls from my uncle, but I ignored them and called the cops first.
Once off the phone with them, I called my uncle back, bracing myself as I hugged Leo tighter.
He answered the phone yelling, but I interrupted him and told him that Kiki was stabbed, but alive. An ambulance and the cops were on their way to Leo's house. He was speechless for a moment.
"You're at Leo's house? What happened? Is Leo okay? Where was my daughter stabbed?" His voice turned to panic. "What the fuck happened!"
I told him all I knew, leaving out the part about Leo being raped. I was sure he wouldn't want me to share that part with anyone, so I didn't.
