We hardly made it back to the room with our clothes on. Once we were in the elevator, King grabbed my hand and pulled me into him, kissing me hard, and I couldn't find the strength to pull away from him, even when the doors opened on our floor. As we got to the door, King held me against it, trying to unlock it, and I kissed his neck.

We didn't stop making out until I dropped on the bed and watched as he took off his shirt and walked over to the nightstand drawer. He stopped when his hand grabbed the handle and looked back at me. "Do you want to?"

He didn't have to say any more than that. I knew what he was asking. The thought of what was about to happen made my body heat as I pulled off my hoodie and shirt and laid back on the bed. "I want to keep going," I answered, knowing he wouldn't take just a nod as my answer.

My eyes didn't leave his as I unbuttoned my jeans and kicked off my shoes. I wanted King more than words could describe as he took off his clothes in front of me, making my body tingle in ways I never knew it would. He crawled on me as we wrapped our arms around each other, kissing like we were the last two people in this world.

His fingers began working inside me, and my hold on him tensed, needing him close, needing to feel his skin against mine. "Don't let go," I said between my gasps. "Don't let go," I begged, holding him so tight I lifted off the bed when he sat up on his knees.

"Fuck," King cursed. "I want you so fucken bad."

I throbbed against him, feeling him put on the condom. It was when he first started entering me that I failed to keep the fear of my past away. King noticed. He always did. Breaking away from my lips, he pulled back so I could look at him. It was all I needed to forget everything else once more, erase the painful memory before it could take hold of me again.

His beautiful green eyes stared into mine. He didn't move as he held me, still sitting on his heels, letting me control the pace as I began moving on top of him until we were both satisfied.

Once done, I collapsed on top of him, my body unwilling to move, legs shaking against his sides as he kissed my hair, rubbing my back while we tried to catch our breath. I could feel his heart hamming against my skin, and I knew he could feel mine, too.

"You'll really move out with me?" King asked between his breath.

Turning my head to look into his eyes, I smiled, running my fingers through some of the hair that fell out of his ponytail. "I wouldn't want anything else for the rest of my life if we did."

I watched as his face lit up under me, arms tightening around me as he rolled us to our sides and kissed me. "You can want whatever your heart desires, Leo, and I'll do everything in my power to give it to you."

I could feel my heart swell at his words, knowing he met them with all his heart. Besides my mother, I didn't think anyone would say that to me. King claimed not to be good at this kind of stuff, but he was better than good at making me feel loved and cared for, like I wasn't alone in this world anymore. He did that from the start. From the first time he saw through me lies when no one else would have thought differently.

I curled into him, breathing in his scent as my head buried underneath his chin. I never wanted to leave this hotel room or step back into the world outside. I wished we'd never have to again.
