Nandini's pov
I groaned a little hearing my stupid stupid alarm but as soon as I snoozed it, I jumped up because it was my first day of college, first year hehehe, im so excited but also nervous.
I sat up turning the alarm off, I looked around and saw my ceiling light on and a blanket on me, my pillow beside me. It remind me that Manik brought me to bed last night making me smile.
Manik, my new and my only best friend ever, he is so sweet and nice to me. He makes me comfortable, I feel like I can do anything around him adn he won't hurt me, not like others have
Its weird becasue when he opened the door I fell on him and he aught me in his arms, his arms that feel so soothing and like home to me which is rare becasue I don't know what home is anymore but maybe I am starting to find it
"Shortcake get up, its time for college" I heard Manik's voice as he came into my room making me grin
"Good morning Manik" I mumbled
"morning, come on get up time to get ready" he said with a smile
I got up and ran to him shoving myself in his chest, he chuckled wrapping an arm around me
"Someone seems excited"
"I am, im so happy" I mumble in his chest
"I can see buttercup, how about you get ready and we can go together"
"Bhai?" I asked
"Sleeping, I will go wake him up but hop in the shower and see me on the table in 30" he said
I nodded in his chest, he kissed my forehead making me smile and then walked out of my room
I showered and put on black skinny jeans and a full puffy sleeve top because my arms and legs still had bruises from my mom, but I am happy so I don't wanna think about it
i grabbed my laptop, phone and college bag walking outside, I saw manik making some milkshake making me lick my lips, the one he made me yesterday was so yummy.
"Can I help" I asked making him turn around
"You look beautiful" he compliments making my cheeks warm up a little
"Thank you" I whispered
"Hop up on the chair and here is your breakfast" he said handing me a bowl of fruits
"Eww" I joke making him glare at me
"Eat" he said making me pout
"Grumpy grumpy" I say
"Its healthy, come on finish it"
"Thank you manik"
"My pleasure' he mumbles turning back around
"Arghhhh my head hurts" bhai came out mumbling
"Good morning bhai"
"Morning pumpkin" he said kissing my head
"Why so blah?" I ask
"Mhm didn't get much sleep last night" he said making manik laugh
"Shut up asshole" bhai said
"Bhai bad" I said shaking my head
"Sorry pumpkin"
Alia di came out too but she didn't say anything, she just left, while the three of us had breakfast together and then we all got ready hopping into manik's car
"Have an amazing first day pumpkin, call me if you need anything okay. I have class on the first floor" he said
"Thank you bhai, I mhm I don't know where mine is" I said trying to read my schedule
