Chapter 48

I put on a hoodie and some shoes on grabbing my school bag. I walked to campus which was a 20 to 30 minute walk, it was nice because it was windy and I love the wind.

I knew I couldn't hold anything against him but his comment wasn't necessary, it hurt, won't lie but right now I needed Bhai's help to make things up to him. I could have called him but I knew navya and bhai were at university so I walked to the room they booked to study

I knocked on the door and peaked inside from the windows grinning at them, I saw them both chuckle as bhai came to open he door

"Hello pumpkin"

"Hiiii I need help" I say walking in

I place my bag on the table and saw them studying calculus, using the white board

"How can we help" navya asked

"I upset manik and I need to make up to him"

"Girl kiss him, he will be fine" navya suggests making me laugh

"Thank you but no"

"You are asking your brother to help make up to your boyfriend" bhai asks

"Yes, sit and help me please"

"What has this world come down to" he mumbles

"Shh, is there an afterparty for the game tom" I ask

"Yes, a very important one if we win" he replies

"Okay, mhm well I need permission" say nervously as I chew on my lips

"For what?" He asked

"Can I please spend tom night outside with manik" I ask him

"Excuse you young lady"

"I know bhai, mhm I promise I won't do anything that"

"Shhh relax im teasing" he chuckles making me pout

"Bhaiiii" I whine

"Yes you can stay out with manik and I appreciate you asking for my permission even though you don't need it"

"I am still little" I whisper

"Oh yes you are but I trust you and manik so I don't mind"

"Bhai mhm I hurt manik, do you think he will forgive me" I ask

"When he gets hurt he is quiet and won't talk much but I promise he will forgive you"

"I shouldn't have hid it from him" I whisper

"Nandini sometimes when you are in love, you hide things to save your partner from getting hurt and thats okay. He will understand it" navya says

I told them both what I did, I even told bhai not to tell him until I figure it out but I was so weak last night that I couldn't help but call him. I didn't care about the consequences at all becasue I needed to see him. Yes I didn't think how he was feeling and I was so wrong for it.

As I thought about it I laid my head on the table thinking about tom and if I should actually do this and if he will want to come with me, even though I hurt him.

My phone rang a little bit later as I was watching bhai and navya study and kinda studying with them. I grab it out of my pocket to see manik's picture displaying with his name on the phone

"Bhai im heading home okay" I say

"Ill drop you" he said

"No, all good. I like the wind"

"You sure?"

"Yes, bye bye"

"Bye" they both say

I walked outside, my phone rang again and it was manik.
