I sat down on the couch in the living room with my homework hoping he would come out of his room but he didn't. I didn't wanna push it, I mean the last time I tried to apologize to Mumma, she lost it.
And that's basically how I ended up walking to Bhai's house becasue if I stayed a single more minute I would have for sure not be standing here alive. I couldn't bare it so I came here hoping everything will be okay
"Hey pumpkin, don't tell me yo have been sitting here alone the whole afternoon" bhai said coming outside in jeans and a t shirt
"Mhm I was jsut finishing my homework"
"Why didn't you come into my room, we were doing homework too" he said
"It's okay, going somewhere?" I ask closing my books and laptop
"Game, girl its 5" he siad making me look up to see it was 5 on the clock
My eyes went to manik's room which was still shut
"Oh ya, let me go get ready" i stood up
"Sure thing, navya and I will push ahead then, is that okay?" He asked
I nodded hoping manik won't be too upset to take me with him
I walked to my room and looked for some clothes, I chose a pair of black skinny jeans and a white top becasue I knew the jersey was black with some things on it. I also put on some black converse leaving my hair down with a couple small braids in it
gaining some courage I walked to manik's room, I know he isn't my Mumma or dad or even di but I did upset him.
I pushed the door open to see him sitting in black jeans and a white shirt as well on the bed tying his shoe laces
he looked up hearing me come in, I took a deep breath noticing how shivery my hands were, I put them in my back pocket walking to him standing right in front of him
He grabbed onto my hips pulling me a little making me land on his lap, he wrapped his left arm around my back and his right hand stayed on my thighs.
"You look beautiful" he whispered kissing the side of my cheeks
"Im sorry" I whispered
"What for" his hand caressing my thigh gently
"For upsetting you, I"
"What? No, god no. Nandini I wasn't upset, I was just trying to make you understand you shouldn't let people walk all over you sweet. nandini she will push and push to make you do things but thats because you let her"
"Its not easy" I whisper
"I know baby, I know but you can't let her do this. You are so safe in this house and you know a single hand raised towards you, a single word against you and I would light this world on fire. Not jsut me, cabir would too"
"You would" I ask
"In a heartbeat nandini"
"I can't fight people because you see I am tiny right but I would still try if someone tries hurting you" I state
He laughed hearing me
"You are a shortie but I know you are feisty too" he siad kissing my ear making me shiver
"Manik your game" I mumble
"Right, lets continue this after okay. You are going to come with me after the game okay"
"Where?" I asked
"Im going to kidnap you, of course after permission from your brother"
"You are no fun, make it surprising" I chuckle at him
