3 years later
Sitting on the couch of my living room I look out to see the waves crashing the shore and rushing back to become more powerful as it hits he shore again.
"This is so pwetty" a little voice reaching my ears making me look down
"Isn't it?" I question smiling at her
"So big shinny" she says giggling as she plays with the most beautiful Dimond ring on my ring finger
"It's huge isn't it" I ask
"Yes, like a star" she says
"Thats what he said too" I whisper caressing her hair
She yawns making me smile, I pick her up kissing her head as I cares her hair putting her to a sleep.
i smile seeing her holding my ring as she sleeps, it is a work of art i'll give her that haha.
A year ago when I graduated, manik proposed to me like not any normal 'hey wanna get married'. It was a whole planned thing and honestly I blacked out for some of it but the one thing I will never forget was manik's smile.
He had this beautiful grin on his face that was mixed with some nervousness as he goes down on his knee looking at me. I won't lie, I thought it was a dream but it wasn't.
I will never forget the moment he slipped that ring in my finger, it felt like it weighed a ton but as the year has gone by I can't help but be so used to it. I feel weird when im not wearing it.
"Oh she fell a sleep" mrs smith comes in
"yeah she did" I whispered looking down at anie sleeping on me
"Thank you for babysitting her, she is so difficult sometimes but thank you" she says
"No problem, I love being with her" I say as she picks her up form my arms
She carries her outside, I whispered a bye as she takes her home
Anie is a 5 year old curious but such a sweetheart that I casually sometimes babysit when mrs smith has some urgent work.
My phone rings, I walk to the room picking it up making me smile as it displays 'FINACE'
"Hello" I whisper
"Nandini baby" he says
"Aren't you supposed to be"
"Yes at the warm up but I miss you baby"
"I miss you too silly, but you left an hour ago"
"Shhh, can I send someone to bring you here?" He asks
"Im already coming in a couple hours mani"
"No, now please"
"Ill have navya drive me" I tell him
"Perfect, I love you"
"I love you more, knuckles manik" I said
"Got it love"
College ended a year ago and once manik and I got engaged, we both moved to the penthouse, yes the one we visited 3 years ago. he still play ice hockey, more professional and strict now.
Bhai and navya are married, they got married a couple months ago, and they live two penthouses down from us haha.
"Girl lets gooo" I heard navya
"Give me a sec" I yell back as I put on sandals
i run down to see her in a beautiful black dress, a frown covers her forehead as she looks me up and down
