Hours, it had been hours since we had been at this carnival, nandini had been to every single ride with me, even the scary ones and now we were in the line for the Ferris wheel

Nandini leaned her back on my chest as we stood in line so I wrapped my arms around her. She wrapped her arms around mine holding me tighter

"Is my shortcake tired?" I ask kissing the back of her head

"A little but I wanna go on the wheel"

"How about we go on this then we pick up something you want for dinner on the way back home"

"Yes but can we go to the shooting game first" she asked

"Sure thing"

as we got on the wheel, nandini's eyes shined so bright making me smile. It started off slow and nandini moved closer leaning herself on me as I held onto her.

Perfect, this moment is perfect. I love how nandini is, I love how beautiful she is, I mhm I just don't know how to explain it but she is so sweet, so innocent, so lovely.

I kissed her temple making her smile as she leaned her head back on my shoulder looking at me with those beautiful doe shaped eyes

As the Ferris wheel moved to the top and hung there for a minute or two, I couldn't help but lean closer to her.

My eyes flicked form her eyes to her lips, I wanted to, I did but I didn't know if she would be okay with it. When I looked back in her eyes she nodded shocking me a little.

"Nandini" I whispered

"Please" she whispered back

I caressed her cheeks leaning forward.

I placed my lips on hers closing my eyes, I felt her hands around my neck she she turned towards me. I didn't wanna rush, I wanted to be gentle and sweet with her because she deserves the best.

i moved my lips a little which she followed, as I gently sucked on her top lip she followed my actions on my bottom lip. I swear I have never felt butterflies in my stomach but kissing nandini makes me feel like a whole god damn zoo in my stomach

I have never felt love before because what Im feeling right now feels so close to love, maybe it is love but I am not gonna say that yet.

I pull back from her lips resting my forehead against her as she caught up her breath, she was breathing so heavy. I caressing her cheeks opening my eyes

before I could say anything, her head tilted up as her eyes looked up at the sky, I looked up too to see fireworks, it was so beautiful.

I grabbed her chin and kissed her forehead, followed by a peck on her lips

"This is so beautiful manik" she mumbled clapping her hands

"Indeed but you are so much more beautiful than this" I whispered

She giggled moving a little to rest her back on me as we watched the fireworks from the Ferris wheel. I loved how they stopped the Ferris wheel every few minutes to let everyone enjoy the view from the top

as Nandini watched the fireworks, my eyes were on her. the way she was smiling and grinning ear to ear. Her smile makes me happy, her being happy makes me happy

"Manik" she whispered

I hum holding her hand as we walked off the Ferris wheel.

I swear I am never forgetting the Ferris wheel, I mean our first kiss on the god damn Ferris wheel and that too under fireworks and it wasn't even planned man
