Chapter 3
Kailah's POV
"Lah...Kailah," I heard someone say to my right or was it to my left, I don't know but I really don't care because I'm having the best nap ever. Aah...bliss, rest is my other bestfrie-
"KAILAH!!"
"Aaaahh!" I screamed and pushed my body away from the sound.
WRONG MOVE.
I backed away too much causing my body to fall off the seat, but good thing I'm awesome.
I rolled over like what they do in the movies when trying to move from one place to another but crouching. It's just that I did it head up since I was falling back. I basically did a back roll people, in case you couldn't visualize it.
I heard laughter booming around the room which I found out was actually inside the bus when I opened my eyes. They were looking at me as they giggled ib their seats.
Haha people. I'm glad that I got to be the cause of your happiness. Note the sarcasm.
"Hahaha, really Purps! You're the best!" Kim happily exclaimed, still a little breathless from their- when I say their, I meant the total number of people inside the bus which I'm guessing was more or less twenty teens, most of them my age and others probably younger- yeah, their competition of 'Who gets to laugh the hardest from Kailah's humiliating stunt'.
"Yeah I know I'm the best. I'm so happy that I get to make all of you laugh." I replied with sarcasm dripping from my voice, voicing out what I thought of earlier as I glared at her from where I was sprawled out on the hard floor.
"Is someone mad? Come on Purps, it won't happen again. . but you gotta admit, if you saw it you'd be spasming from laughter!" Kim argued not helping her case.
I scowled at my supposed best friend which ended her cackles, seeing as I wasn't finding the situation funny....okay...truth be told, it was kinda funny. Though it was at my expense but she didn't have to know that.
"Okay. Sorry Purple. Can you find it in your big heart to forgive your best friend since diaper days?" Kim pouted.
When she saw that I wasn't budging, she pulled her famous puppy dog face.
I tried to avert my eyes but...Ugh! Who made her look this adorable anyway? That's so deceiving since she's pure evil inside. You feel that about your best friends sometimes?
"Fine, you're forgiven but if you do that again I'm filing for annulment and you won't get a single penny!" Was my smart reply which got chuckles from all the other kids riding the bus.
"So, where are we now?" I asked while making my way back to my chair.
"Well, Mr. Brendon there, that hottie in front who actually is the one assigned to our group as our facilitator, said that ten minutes tops and we'll be getting there." She answered, her voice sounding dreamy at the part where she said his name and the word hottie. I can't understand her like of guys. Seriously, I can still live and breathe without them. So I don't see the reason behind her obsession with good looking boys.
Anyway, I won't deal with that because finding out what the reason behind her crazed mind is like students demanding a one year vacation, IMPOSSIBLE.
So moving on, "Do we know anyone here Nurps?" I, again, asked. I'm a curious person because I believe in the saying that 'curiosity leads to new discovery and success, or was it danger? Ha! I'm so funny!
"Yep, I saw Betty sitting in front. You know, Betty the shy but friendly kid who was in our AP algebra class last year. Oh and Brad, the one who kept on pestering you about dating him. He actually kept on staring at you the whole time you were sleeping. Creepy dude can't get ove- shit! He's still staring. Creep alert." Kim answered a lot more than what was necessary and now since I'm a curious cat, I turned and saw that Brad really was staring. I smiled and waved my hand awkwardly, I'm not rude people!
