Extra Chapter 1
In an alternate universe...
Ian's POV
"Oh my gosh! This is so, like, heavy!" A whine coming from my far left made me whip my head to see a leggy blonde, clad in clothes too little for her if you asked me, who was sporting a ridiculous pout, duck face and all that. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at the pathetic display because honestly, it wasn't worth it. Who told her to pack her entire room anyway.
Continuing on with my stride towards the entrance of the camp site, I faced ahead not sparing the whiny woman a second glance. "Next thing you know, she's complaining about how fresh the air is." I grumbled under my breath.
A guffaw to my right caused me to snap towards the sound and watch my best pal since 2nd grade give me a look I've been so accustomed with. If you were thrown that look everyday, how could you not get so used to it that it could only make you shrug.
"Dude, I know you've got history with women who are a bit crazy but definitely hot....yeah totally hot...anyway, but you seriously need to cut women some slack with your stereotyping!" Garet stated after his laughter, momentarily dazing out at the middle. I wrinkled my nose in disgust, giving my friend a punch to his arm. "Dude.. please, for my sanity, don't comment about my sisters like that!" I shuddered at the thought of my three older sisters.
It was their fault I was still a f*cking virgin. They've ruined how I saw every woman in this planet, aside from my mom but that didn't mean she wasn't crazy either.
"Can't help it, man. Your sisters are hot but I value my life enough not to tap those." He hummed like it was such a waste. I only sighed and shook my head at him when he started giving winks to the girls that were shamelessly ogling us.
"Ian, man, if I didn't know you from your hair down to your toes, I'd have accused you of batting for the other team a long time ago so it's a good thing I know why you are...the way you are now." Garet unnecessarily commented. "Exactly, you know my reason so you should understand, man."
The memories flashed in my head without my consent causing shudders to rack my body. What would you feel if your older sisters who were much bigger than your 12 year old self, decided that you would make a fine life-sized barbie doll. Yeah, it would have been bearable if it was at least a ken doll but you heard me, a freaking barbie doll.
What would you feel if you were treated your whole life like you were their own personal lackey? They made me do the most embarrassing things like buying those..those..tampons!
Not watching where I was going, lost in my horrendous thoughts, I couldn't undo the result when my body collided with another and I'm not exactly the smallest guy here which meant that it wasn't a surprise when the unsuspecting body was sent to the ground with a loud yelp.
The yelp which sounded like a sound a man can never make, meaning it undoubtedly came from the female species, made my body freeze in place.
Great! Just my luck.
I looked down and waited for the whine and bitching I was sure would errupt any second now only to catch my breath when my eyes landed on the most beautiful person I've ever met. She had the most stunning and unique green eyes I've ever seen in a person and I found that I could not take my eyes off them. I swear my heart stopped beating when she smiled up at me, though it looked a bit on the grimace side. I almost forgot how I felt about the female population. Note the key word, almost.
I snapped back to reality and willed my breath to even out when I was reminded by my trusty brain that women were witches. Not so trusty, if you tell me.
