Akina's POV
The lady claps her hands, which leads to another lady wearing a green kimono with dark pink flowers decorating it appear from behind a set of curtains to the left side of the desk. She bows to the lady, who says, "Can you please take care of the front desk, while I guide this guest to one of the VIP tables?" The new lady nods, leading to the lady I have interacted with to move away from the desk and push another set of curtains that hang on the right side of the desk that lead to a set of double wooden doors that are decorated with banners of dragons on it, she then opens them to reveal a very large dinning area filled with tables and sitting cushions that are occupied by customers eating varieties of soups.
The lady must have seen me looking around the dining area, making her whisper, "You will not be eating in this dining area. This is the dining area for regular customers." She makes me follow her all the way to the very back of the dining area, where barely anyone sat due to how dark it is in this area. She assesses the area to see if anyone is looking, before then pulling down a lever disguised as an old candlestick sat a top of a very large ornate vase, leading to me to hear a whoosh happen as the wooden wall in front of me suddenly opens to reveal stairs. "We must be quick before curious heads look our way." With that I begin to ascend the stairs with the lady at my side. "You will be dining up on the first floor, that's where special guests can enjoy their soups." The lady informs me as we get closer and closer to the stop step, which shows a far more less crowded dining area with expensive looking cushions for those to sit on and have the wall decorated with special mirrors that show beautiful unspoilt nature scenery for guests to look at as they eat their soup.
I immediately know that majority of special guests are Demons of high power and some are possibly powerful psychics that do not cause any conflicts. "Your table is at the far right corner." The lady says to me, before bowing and making her way back down the stairs. I then look to the area that she had told me is my designated table, where I see a pale skinned male with long black hair that was tucked behind pointed ears with a red downward triangle tattooed under his dark brown eye that I am able to see from the angle he is sitting at. I am also able to see he is wearing large white kimono robe with red autumn leaves decorating the sleeves.
I see his nose twitch before he then turns his head and locks his gaze with mine as he says in a calm tone, "Hello there. Please take a seat, I don't bite." I then walk over to him and take a seat across from him. "I ordered some Niku Udon for us both, is that alright or do you require me calling the cook to prepare something else?" He reveals to me, to which I reply, "There is no need for that. I will gladly have Niku Udon, thank you." Although he really shouldn't order other people's food, I could've been allergic to something and he would have no way of knowing. "Forgive me for asking, but are you related to a Dog Demon that goes by the name Goro?" I watch as he nods and says, "I am Lord Riku, Grandfather of Goro. And I have requested an audience with you on a rather urgent matter." I nod and was about to question further, but pause as two women approach us with trays that held our soups and the necessary cutlery needed to eat with. Both of us look to the silent women and say, "Thank you." And watch as they walk away.
