Now it was late afternoon as the sun that had risen was now preparing for it to be replaced by the moon as it migrates west, for it was now 15:34 and the bells had begin to let out its chime, indicating to the students within the building that they should either begin their journey home whilst the sun remains in the sky or to head to the class where an extra curriculum was about to take place. However, as many teens do in their free time, they huddled into their friendship groups that were in their current classroom and begin to gossip as this may be the last time they see each other. "It happened again!" A boy sitting at his desk with his group of friends standing near him exclaimed, leading to his friend who was also a boy and wearing a denim sleeveless jacket to inform the rest of the group on what he had heard with excitement in his tone, "They haven't been able to get a hold of some guy from my brother's school for a week." And the boy at his desk added, "I've been hearing about that." Hearing this leads to the third and last boy member of the group, who wore a light purple hoodie to add a theory on the matter, "Maybe he just moved out of town? This place is so dull." This the lead to a domino effect as the boy in the sleeveless jacket asked, "What if he was 'spirited away'?" Then a girl with short light brown hair, who stood beside him, raises her left arm into the air as she exclaims, "I bet that's it!" The boy who had previously spoken looked at her with a tired and yet weird-ed out look as he asks her sarcastically, "You really do love that kinda stuff, huh?" The girl gives him a pointed look as she replies, "Not as much as you."
During all this a sad short haired red head was about to leave the class unnoticed whilst trying to decide whether or not he had time to visit his hospitalized friend, whom still hasn't woken up and yet lingers in his mind. However, the last member of the chatty friendship group notices him about to leave the classroom without speaking to her at all today, making her call out to him, "Minamino-kun!" This makes him stop on the spot, for he may not wish to talk to her currently but he doesn't want to be rude. "What do you think?" She asks as he turns around to look at her before thinking of an answer, "Perhaps he just ran away from home." The girl wasn't satisfied with Shuichi's answer, as she walks up to him with excitement in her eyes she says, "That's so boring! Can't you think of anything else? Like maybe he was abducted by aliens, or kidnapped by a secret cult, or warped to another dimension!" Shuichi continues to look at the girl who was now directly in front of him and answers, "Not seeing how any of those are realistic." She then replies back, "That's just because you're too naive. The aliens are among us!"
The two are unaware of the two teens from the girl's group watching them: one is the light brown haired girl, who wears a smile as she watches the two, whilst the other is the boy with the sleeveless jacket, who grunts with clear jealousy in his voice, "I hate it." This makes the girl beside him turn to him and say, "Give it a rest. Maya's only got eyes for Minamino, even if his eyes are clearly on that poor girl who was in an accident three months ago." But the boy wasn't going to calm down as told, instead he throws a rubber at Shuich whilst spitting, "Stupid-" But both teens were amazed as they see Shuichi swiftly catch it without looking their way and he stares at the rubber blankly. The three that have seen him do this believe him to be analyzing the object in his hand, when actually Shuichi was experiencing a flashback.

Both Shuich and Akina were studying in the public library preparing for exams. Despite them both attending different schools, they both discovered that they both are at similar IQ in almost all subjects, therefore if one got stuck on a subject the other understood better they can easily help one another. None of the other citizens in the library near the two had any idea as to how long the two had been there studying but it was hinted to have been a very long time, as Akina's eyes were drooping for she was tired; she was tired from studying, school, taking care of her mum and brother, and tired from the eventful morning she had with the teachers trying to bully her brother. And after a few minutes the girl gave in and let her eyes close, and her head to sit against her open note book with a light thud, going unnoticed to Shuichi who was stuck on understanding a task in his text book.
He had re read the book three more times before huffing in annoyance and lets out a sigh of defeat as he begins to say, "Akina could you he-" He pauses as he finally sees his dear friend sleeping and it made him sad when he finally acknowledges the dark circles under her eyes, now usually whenever he would see the dark circles, he would force her to fall asleep either in his bed or her own and just leave her to catch up on her well needed rest, but he has to wake her up as he was worried she would wake up with bad neck and backache. Thankfully the library was near his house so he could take her to his house and force her to fall back to sleep there, helping him decide to wake her up by gently shaking her shoulders and whispering, "Akina. Akina. Akina, please wake up." And suddenly she sits up quickly and throws the rubber that was in her right hand towards the person who had woken her up in reflex, believing it to be her twin trying to pull a prank on her. But Shuichi caught it, and when Akina realized where she was and who was with her, her eyes widened and started to hurriedly apologize to him with her arms widely waving about in front of her, making him chuckle at such a sight.

Coincidentally when the flashback finished, Maya asks him with concern as she acknowledges the saddened look that had over taken the blank look he had and believed the object had hurt him physically, "What's that?" Shuichi then puts on a fake smile and prevents Maya's curious gaze from seeing the object as he replies, "Oh, nothing." And with that walks off to be alone as he thinks to himself, 'Akina, I miss you.'
