It's funny how people with power believe they can control everything but ignore the truth until it's too late. Fate is such a funny yet scary thing. We cannot predict the definite path we walk, nor what time we will pass nor how.
I knew this and came to accept it at quite a young age but all those around me couldn't quite grasp it.
Some of them had lots of money, greed and power to their names.
Some of them held no money but still had greed for power.
And still I would encounter someone who had believed to have bested death.
