Third Person's POV
Akina and Goro stare up at the set of stairs that is before them, with different reactions: Goro is staring up the steps in disbelief with sweat sticking to the sides of his head, whilst thinking to himself, 'Who knew that it would be stairs that kill me!?'; whereas Akina just staired at the stairs blankly whilst thinking, 'I don't think these are the same amount of steps I had to go up in the Saint Beast's castle. Are they?' The two slowly turn to each other in silence, before Goro breaks it with a sigh and turns completely away from the stairs and says, "Oh well, we tried. Best be heading home." This makes Akina grab his shoulder and calmly say, "We can't turn back now, Goro. We need to meet Genkai." Goro then says, "Ok, I'll just power up my energy and we can teleport up there." He then raises his hand, only for Akina to smack it and say, "No. We are going to actually go up the stairs." This make Goro immediately grasp a hold of Akina's shoulders and shout, "WHY?! HAVEN'T YOU SEEN HOW MANY STEPS THERE ARE?!" Akina puts on a smile and says, "I have, and they look like the perfect amount to help us increase our stamina and endurance. Wouldn't you agree my dear friend?" This was responded with an incoherent grumbling that made Akina giggle in amusement at Goro being able to show his frustrations more freely and without a care.

Meanwhile, Chiharu storms out of her home, which is now decorated in flames, with only a single laceration to her left cheek and blood decorating her Kimono. She storms her way over to the train station and knocks on the door to the train conductor. The door opens to reveal an old man, who stares at her in fear as he asks, "Is there anything you need, my lady?" Chiharu nods and says, "A ride to where my followers currently reside. It is time for them to abandon their rest." The old man opens the door further and says, "Come inside and recover, whilst I prepare what is needed for your journey."
Chiharu does as told by the old man as she enters the small little shack she had forced this old man to live in, and took a seat on a small wooden chair as she began to think with a small smirk on her face. "So...you old mutts wish to challenge me." She says as she places her now glowing hand on her cut cheek, making proof of injury erase. "Well then, the time of Dog Spirits and Demons must come to its end." Her eyes glow as she pulls out a Begonia seed, which soon also glows. "Oh mighty mutt, accept this parting gift." And with that the seed disappears, before she then pulls out a daisy and makes that disappear as well. "Don't worry sweetheart, no one is going to harm you."
