Kurama's Spring Flower

Chapter Nine

Shuichi and Hiei stare at the corpse in confusion in hearing that someone had been able to control this demon, making them wonder if they were alone. "Hiei, is there anyone else in this building?" Hiei activates his Jagan eye and easily finds the human girl Shuichi was looking for, but also a male watching them, this leads to him looking at Shuichi and say, "We may have another opponent." And with that a man in a butler suit jump down from a high ledge to land in between the two demons before he pulls out a blade from his suit that glows red and speaks, "My mistress wants no witnesses!" His sword then grows and seems to become a hybrid of a blade and whip as he whips it at the two with the intention to kill.

The two try to dodge but still receive injuries, as somehow the blade managed to snag at their sides, gravely injury the two and causing the two to collapse to the floor as their bodies are in pain and begs for death for reasons unknown to the two, making the man laugh, "My blade is coated with a rare poison that can kill any living creature, that my mistress has provided me. You two will die a slow and painful death." The two allies let out groans whilst glaring at the man with hate, even as the man looks away from them and speaks to himself, "I wonder what reward I will get for killing that girl for the mistress myself?" And just as he was about to wonder the halls to locate the kidnapped human girl, the two were shocked to see him suddenly attacked by a small dog biting his dominant hand, causing the man to cry out and wave his arm about, "ARGH! GET OF! GET OFF YOU BITCH!" And as it wouldn't let go, he drops his sword when it deepens its teeth into his flesh, making him resort to using his free hand to try punching the small creature into letting go, making the dog whimper, but it won't give up.

And just as the man picks up a piece of debris and was about to smash it against the dogs head, Chiharu jumps down and intervenes by chumping down and throws some seeds that land around the man before they grow vines that wrap around the man and give him multiple punches, whilst she shouts, "How about some Karma for the dog?!" The dog releases its hold on the man once realising Chiharu has attacked the male.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" The man shouts as he was shocked by how he was being attacked by plants so suddenly before he suddenly drops to the floor and tries to reach for his blade, only for Chiharu to pick it up instead and ask him, whilst he gets beaten and stare at her in fear, "Didn't I say you were going to get Karma?" And with that the plants quickly revert back into seeds before she stabs the man in the chest with his sword and turns away from the man, leaving him to die. She walks over to the two demons nearing death and seem to be looking at her in fear, and at that moment Chiharu was almost convinced on killing them in case they inform Spirit World of her presence, that was until she noticed the dog lick the red head's face, making her ask the pup, "Shall I heal them little one?" The dog pauses licking the confused male before giving the woman puppy dog eyes and whimpers in order to get what it wants out of her. Chiharu sighs, "Oh alright." before she then pulls out a jar from behind her back, which contains a golden substance, and then pulls out a spoon as she kneels in between the two. She uses the spoon to scoop the golden honey like substance before forcing it into Shuichi's mouth to then do the same to Hiei whilst ordering, "Swallow or die."

They do as told and watched in amazement as all of their injuries healed and they felt themselves return to full power. Shuichi then gets up and takes notice of Chiharu preparing to leave the scene, making him rush towards her with his right arm outstretched as he shouts, "Wait!" She stops in her track and waits for the boy to explain his order. "What is that medicine? May I use some, not for myself but for...for someone of importance to me." Chiharu lets a small smile form on her face before removing it as she turns to face him and asks, "Is this the human hidden in a room upstairs, or perhaps a comatose human?" Shuichi gasps in shock and wonders, 'How does she know?' before answering, "For my friend, she needs to be healed and finally wake up. So many people need her." Chiharu smiles before pulling out a small vial containing a small amount of the substance, and passes it to Shuichi before saying, "But know this, it will only awaken her and bring peace to her soul, allowing her own energy to heal her fast. But that girl is special and if someone with a severe illness touches her before you give her this, it will not cure whatever she has taken from the sick." Then she turns into sakura petals and flies off before Shuichi could question her words.

Emi had just left the bar she was spending time in with her friends that were her age when she suddenly catches glimpse of a cloaked figure standing beside her car looking at her. She takes a deep breath before walking over to the figure with confidence and speaks, "Want to go anywhere in particular?" The figure just opens the drivers door and gets in, making Emi say, "Erm...you're so not driving!" The figure then raises their right hand that was  glowing blue and had formed a string around the wrist, to then flick their wrist somehow causing Emi's car keys to fly out of her pocket and follow a barely visible blue line to their hand before starting the engine. Emi looks to her feet before huffing, "Fine." and storms over to the passenger side before they start driving. Emi looks at the cloak figure nervously before speaking, "It's been years since your last visit, so tell me, why are you here?" The figure does not speak, but takes their left hand off the wheel to put it into their pocket and pull out a folded piece of paper, before passing it to Emi without removing their gaze from the road. Emi gulps before unfolding the paper to read what is written on it, before her body trembles and eyes widen before looking back towards the road ahead of her, knowing full well wear the car is going. "I'm sorry." She whimpers as tears finally fall from her eyes that continue to stare at the road ahead as she tries to overcome her fear.
