[POV CHANGE | THIRD PERSON]

A boy with a mask covering his face stands before a member of Orca Dorm, the hood of his robes up to hide more of his features. "Bastard. You think you can just take a gold coin? From me?! The Magma Master of Orca Dorm...Rhodes Eamus." The boy couldn't speak much longer as the mysterious member from Lang cuts him down with a sword in his grasp. "I heard rumours you were a fighter. A rarity for Orca Dorm. It seems the rumours were just that." He comments, turning from the unconscious boy and walking away down the hall.

Previously...Mash drowned.

"The hunt begi–" Olore begins speaking, quickly pausing as something shoots past him at a rapid speed. He freezes, his mind beginning to ramble as his thoughts get scattered, ‘I can't shake the feeling that something passed by me with incredible speed...but that's ridiculous. Humans can't swim 10 km per hour. I must have imagined it. That's all. Although, I don't see Mushroom Head anywhere, and that girl is in a separate prison. So, where could he be?’

Once more Mash swims past him rapidly, Olore's eyes widening even further as he watches, ‘Impossible. When I first cast my spell...I recall him saying he couldn't swim.’ Mash swims past again, slipping past the shark form of Olore. "It seems that I can swim." The words come out more like gurgling, but Olore seems to understand, his eyes shaking as confusion washes over him. "Thank you for helping me overcome my fear." The boy bows in gratitude to the shark, Olore questioning his thanks in his mind as Mash then rapidly swims around him.

‘Has the hunter...become the hunted?’ His thoughts swirl as he then grits his shark teeth, "Fine. Then I shall have to go all out. Seashark Evolution! In this form, no one can stop m-!" His words get cut off as Mash slams into his stomach, firing off rapid punches.

Elsewhere, Kat turns her head from side to side and breathing calmly as she scans her surroundings. She was in a water prison, much like the one she figured Mash would be in, but she couldn't hear a single sound from around her. If she were anyone else, she'd probably be having a hard time but considering the gills that formed on her neck, she was just fine where she was. "Sheesh, he didn't even consider it, did he?"

Her words were filled with contempt as she lifts her head trying to watch for a way out of the water prison. "I should get out of here." She mutters softly, attempting to swim upwards as she feels no danger coming around her. Before she could reach the top, the magic seems to dispell itself, her arms quickly encasing over her head and neck as she reappears on dry land.

Kat's eyes swiftly shift upwards as she uses her hands to run down her face off neck, feeling for the gills and thankfully not having the unexplainable bumps on her body. Her gaze lands on Lance and Mash, the owl hut basically destroyed as the two Lang members lay unconscious at their feet. "Kat, are you okay?" The blue haired boy questions the drenched girl, his hand reaching out to the girl gently.

She grasps the boy's hand, Lance helping her stand and she staggers slightly as she rises from the ground.

[POV CHANGE | KAT]

"Who traps someone in a water prison?" I cough, faking the drowned exhaustion as Lance pulls me closer, helping me regain my balance as all three of us stand before the two unconscious Magia Lupus members. "So, this is the power of the sixth and the seventh? Nearly drowning someone is no good either." Lance comments, his hand not leaving mine quite yet as Mash pipes up, "Yeah. We've got this."

I chuckle slightly as the tension drops in the room, Lance commenting with a blank expression, "Well, there goes the dramatic tension." I clench my hand around his in reassurance, only to go cold as a voice comes in from behind us, "Oh dear...are we being mocked? I'm hurt..." The voice was familiar as we all turned, only for the two to turn back as the boy flashes to standing behind them once more, my hand getting yanked from Lance's as I now find myself in Abyss Razor's arms, his voice cold as he speaks, "You should reconsider your words. It is good to see you again, Kat."

His warning and the use of my name makes all three of us flinch, Lance hesitating with his spell before attempting it anyways, his eyes widening as his gravity spell fails to work. Mash was getting into starting position to attack as Abyss speaks once more, his voice near my ear, "Please, stand down. I'm only here for my allies...and Kat, perhaps." His arm tense around my waist as he speaks, my eyes narrowing as I comment lightly, "I'm not an ally?"

"Your posture says you're out for blood, and you can't have Kat. She's off limits." Mash commented bluntly, my own words receiving a small chuckle before Abyss pushes me gently to the side as Mash appears before him and punches as hard as he can. Abyss moves from his position swiftly, looking as if he teleported as he pulls out a familiar looking bottle and commenting once more, "I'm sorry if I made you feel threatened. I was simply curious. I really am only here for my allies, but fret not... we'll meet again soon."

His gaze seems to linger on my form as he spins around, his allies within the bottle, "Good day. See you again, Kat." Lance commenting with clenched fists as we watch Abyss leave, anger laced within his voice, "I take that back. Crushing them...will be worthwhile after all."

[POV CHANGE | ABYSS]

I walk back with the two allies within the bottle, my steps calm as I head back towards the Lang Dorm. "She's...really pretty...even without the moonlight." I couldn't help but mutter, my gaze flickering down to the arm that was still warm from holding her within it's grasp, my mind flashing back to the two boys she was with. The blue haired one lingered for a moment as I recalled him holding her hand, but my mind returned to the black haired mushroom head, "That attack...such speed, and with no magic."

I commented to myself, "Kat also...she doesn't have magic either. He is the same as me, but she...is she something different?" I couldn't help but question the girl's existence, but I was hesitant to share any of that information with Abel, specifically on the girl. I wasn't sure why he wanted her around, he didn't share that tidbit of information as I questioned the motive of his around the girl.

I did want to bring her with me, but I didn't want to force the girl along. Hopefully, we'll be able to talk like that again, before she found out I was a member of Magia Lupus. I did actually want to be her friend after all.
