At Easton Magic Academy, each dorm is overseen by a prefect. The three prefects boasts some of the greatest talent in Easton. All of them have the skills necessary to become a Divine Visionary.

[POV CHANGE | THIRD PERSON POV]

Mash and Lance sit across from one another as the black haired boy counts the golden coins slowly, "One, two, three...seven." He mutters as he drops each coin, Lance speaking up at the finished number, "That's practically all we need...for the selection exam."

Mash responds to the words with a nod, his voice coming out blunt, "It's almost time. But first..."

"You're going home?" Rayne Ames stands before the black haired boy with an expression of disbelief on his face, the second-year watching the first-year carefully as he questions once more, "Home? Now, of all times? You can't be serious."

Mash shudders at the disapproving glare, the male shifting his gaze slightly away from the older teen while responding with a shaking voice, "You're right...I'll s-stay."

Mash finishes off after his brief break in thought, his voice remaining blunt, "I think I'll visit home..." At the same time Kat sits within the courtyard of the main building of the school, reading a book planted in her lap as she takes in the sunlight. She shifts uncomfortably at the feeling of eyes watching her, the girl lifting her head as she calls out slightly, "I know you're watching me."

Carpaccio Luo-Yang steps out from his hiding spot, the boy pouting slightly as he approaches the girl with a tone of displeasure at his capture, "You said I could observe you." She lets out a sigh at those words, the girl attempting to hold back a laugh as she responds carefully, "But I also told you not to be a creep about it."

"I don't get it." His words were blunt as he spoke, the girl standing from her spot and approaching the boy slowly, "I mean...if you want to get to know me, come and talk to me. You don't have to stay at a distance, it's uncomfortable for me." His eyes widen at her words, his head leaning in closer to her to as he responds with a tone of surprise, "Really? Then, I'll do that."

Kat backs up a few steps from the sudden closeness, her cheeks flushing slightly as she mutters, "Another thing is personal space..."

Meanwhile within Orca Dorm, Orter Madl and Margarette Macaron sit across from each other at a long dining table, the Visionary fiddling with his fork in front of him as he speaks, "People without magic want to be a Visionary. It's unheard of. Headmaster Wahlberg is getting on in years, his decision-making skills are in decline. Those in power have a responsibility to stop disturbances...before they arise."

Margarette hums from their position, their voice coming out with a nearly bored tune, "And that role has fallen to me." A nod came with Orter's verbal response, the male pushing up his glasses slightly, "So let me be clear...see that they cannot participate in the Divine Visionary selection exam, and find a way to deal with that magic-less child, Orca Prefect, Margarette Macaron."

The prefect hums once more as they spin their fork between their fingers, their words coming out as they dip the tempura shrimp into the sauce in front of them, "Ortie, this must truly be serious...if you've come to me. But you know I don't march to the beat...of just anyone's drum. I only care about one thing, the rush."
