[KAT POV]

My eyes deepen into a dark glare at those words, my feet moving slowly on their own to stand in front of Mash as well as Gazzy, the former staring at the Visionary with a blank look. "You're right...death is a more than fitting punishment...for intolerable pieces of shit like you." My words were cold and yet filled with malice, the other Visionaries going quiet as they stare at me with widened eyes, the glasses wearing one glaring back at me with an equally as harsh look,

"Hah, if it makes you feel better...consider this decision unanimous." I scoff, my fingers twitching as my gaze goes void of all emotion, "It does...it makes it easier to have no remorse over killing you." My words make him flinch backwards slightly, my left eye peering right at him as my right only consumes darkness. A part of me knew I would have regrets, but if it came down to one of these fools over Mash, Gazzy, Pops or any of the others, I would rather take these Visionaries down first or die trying, I refused to lose any more people that I loved. I was only playing at being strong.

At that moment, Bless Minister speaks up once more, his voice gurgling slightly as it comes out robotically, "That is unacceptable." His body was swaying as he moves himself forward, all of our eyes shooting towards the bald man as he staggers while he speaks, "We are...Innocent Zero. That Boy and those birds belong to us. Hands off them." A commotion sweeps across the room at those words, my hands clenching into fists as voices spark around the room,

"Innocent Zero's involved?! | It seems...they have unusual origins after all...and what do they mean by birds?" Mash speaks up bluntly at the accusation, the boy reaching out to grip my wrist and pull me back to him, gesturing for Gazzy to get closer to him as he does so, answering smoothly, "We don't belong to anyone but ourselves and who cares about what they mean by birds."

The impatient Visionary speaks up in response to Mash, eyeing us both with a look of irritation, "No one cares about that first part...it's the second that needs addressing." The odd voice comes from Bless once more as he speaks, the attention of everyone returning to the older man, "We are serious. As proof of this...we've placed a magi-parasite in this once."

A staffer shouts out anxiously at those words, a look of horror crossing over his face, as his words come out,

"A magi-parasite?!"

Magi-parasite...an especially dangerous magical creature that feeds off mana while using its host as a chrysalis during the larval stage. Upon removal, it attaches itself to whoever removed it.

"Consider this our statement of intent to you all. This world is ours." At those words Ryoh jumps from his spot at the top, his voice coming out smoothly and calmly as he speaks slowly, "So, you're declaring war against the Bureau? Eager to end this long-standing conflict of ours?" I watch the three potential enemies carefully, my body tense as I hear Ryoh continue,

"Fine...I'll remove the magi-parasite." He sounded completely calm as he spoke, the Bureau staffer shouting out in refusal, "It's too risky! The more powerful the magic user, the greater the danger! If it gets you, you'll be chrysalised in an instant!" I narrow my eyes at those words, hands clenching into fists as Ryoh speaks slowly, "Who else should do it? I'll..."

I soon jolt slightly in surprise at the sight of Mash ripping the parasite off of Bless Minister, my voice carrying at the same time as Ryoh, "Mash! | What are you doing?!" Our tones were both worried and scolding, my feet moving swiftly forward, one of my hands dragging Gazzy along closely, as Mash appears to choke as the parasite goes sliding down the boys throat.
