[POV CHANGE | KAT RIDE]
I let out an inaudible sigh as I press my back against a brick wall, fingers fidgeting against one another subconsciously as I bite down on my bottom lip anxiously. The streets were more crowded today than they had been, large amounts of people going back and forth in front of me as I try to hold back the panic settling into my heart.
I attempt to close my eyes to steady myself further, but I couldn't help but shoot them back open when I felt someone plant themselves next to me. I glance over slightly, my right eye filling with the sight of a pink haired male with two marks, the lines appearing to have arrows on the tips as they circle around one another on his right cheek.
"You're staring." His voice came out emotionless, the words held with no malice or confusion, just being used to point out my gaze before he turns his head, a subtle widening of his own eyes being given away before they return to their normal size. "Sorry... I'm waiting on someone, and he has a habit on showing up without saying a word, so..."
My response came out as a small reply, my head tilting to the side as I turn to face forward once more, fingers continuing to fidget. "Hm, is that so? I'm waiting on some people too." He turns his head back to face forward as well after his comment, the boy going quiet as we then stand next to each other in silence.
It wasn't long before his friends showed up, the boy beside me allowing his eye to twitch as he watches the two coming closer with a flash of irritation in his gaze. "They're so loud." His voice came out in a mutter as he slowly moves forward, his eyes flickering back towards me and a hum leaving him before he gifts me a few words, "You're...going to hurt yourself like that."
His hands gesture to my fidgeting fingers, and I stiffen slightly before letting my hands drop to my sides, eyes wide as I give a small nod to the boy. "R-Right...well, have fun with your friends." He let's out a huff at my response, the boy shaking his head before turning to glare at the two approaching teens, "We're not friends."
I blink at his response, confusion flickering into my mind as a blonde shouts out to the pink haired boy, "Oi, Domina!" My mind automatically latches onto the name as the boy growls subtly, a sigh leaving him as he finally moved towards the two teens once more, muttering a farewell as he goes. I let out a louder sigh of relief as the three teens leave, taking notice of how the two he approached continues to glance back to me curiously.
"Kat." I jolt slightly when my name is said, my head turning to land my gaze on Carpaccio, a smile slowly forming until my right eye catches the view of Orter and the Orca Dorm member sent to kill Mash and I, my expression turning tight at the sight. "Seriously?" The word escapes both mine and Orter's lips at the same time, the third person chuckling slightly at the interaction between us as Carpaccio gives us all a swift glance.
"Something wrong?" His question was innocent as it escaped his lips and I could only sigh as I quickly grab his wrist and begin walking. "Nothing, nothing at all." Carpaccio remains silent before finally allowing himself to catch up, the boy placing himself beside me but not removing my hand as his two dorm mates follow behind us.
"Sorry, I didn't know you don't get along." His apology made me slow down, my gaze landing on him with a curious gaze before I let out a sigh. "He is a Divine Visionary that wants me, Mash and my brother dead. Of course we wouldn't get along." My words make him hum slightly, the boy nodding slowly as we continue at a more even pace. "And Margarette?"
I hum at the name, storing it in my mind as I respond carefully, "Orter sent Margarette to kill us when we visited Mash's dad, if someone didn't get in the way we would've been in trouble." Carpaccio remains silent at my words, his gaze flickering behind him to land his gaze on his two upperclassman, his eyes narrowing as he sees them having a quiet conversation between each other.
