[THIRD PERSON POV]
"It's Mash Burnedead and Kat Ride!" The biggest instigator of the crowd shouts, his voice loud as he points directly at the two teens, "Don't let them escape!" He raises his wand up into the air as he mockingly finished off, his grin never faltering, "Not that they'll be hard to catch without magic...Prison Wall!" He cast his spell confidently, Kat and Mash becoming encased in the large, metallic cylinder cage. "Mash! Kat!" Lemon cried out in worry, recalling the way Kat reacted when being trapped within the magic bottle, unaware of how the anger that clouded her friends mind seemed to ignore her trapped circumstance.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! Did you see me catch them?! Those walls are 15 cm thick, capable of trapping even large magical beasts!" He was gloating cockily as he laughed maniacally, his eyes crazed with pride as he brags, "My cage is incre–!" His words get cut off as a finger appears through the middle of the cage, more coming out from it as Mash's hand begins to carve out an opening for himself and Kat. "Huh...?" The braggart managed out, his excitement slowly slipping as he began to tremble and mutter out in shock,
"Hmm? No, that's not...Those walls are 15 cm thick, capable of trapping even large magical beasts, right?" He shook further as the opening Mash was making kept growing, his eyes trembling as he continues to stutter, "No, just no! Those walls are 15 cm thick, capable of trapping even large magical beasts!" He was attempting to convince himself of his own magic at this point, his eyes watering as the door falls with a slam against the ground to show Mash and Kat glaring directly down at the male.
"Eep! Those walls are 15 cm thick, capable of trapping even large magical beasts!!" He waits, eyes closed tightly shut as Mash lifts the cage and tossed it into the crowd, making the object land perfectly around the man that cast the spell. The crowd made room for the cage, panicked expressions on their faces as Mash proceeds to throw the door he created as well, the object landing nicely in its carved out space. Kat didn't hesitate to raise a hand, the rocks previously thrown following her movements as she telepathically lifted the rubble into the air before flicking her hand without a second thought, sending the volley of rocks back into the crowd.
Panicked noises escaped the lips of onlookers, the rocks not striking a single one of them despite the clear look of hatred welled up in Kat's gaze, the bodies of the judgemental folks trembling as Mash began to speak, "So, I know it's been this way for a long time and maybe you feel like you can't accept things being different." He was calm despite his tightly clenched fists, his eyes shooting daggers at the crowd as he spoke, "But...I'll rise to the top of the magic world, and I'll prove that not having magic is totally okay too."
"And I'll protect..." Kat trailed off slightly, holding back a smirk when she notices the winces from the crowd, "Everyone I hold dear from your illogical attempts at harming them." At that moment green flames seemed to appear behind Mash and Kat, the crowd of onlookers, that were once speechless, letting out in surprise, "What's...?!" Their panic calmed when they realized Wahlberg had appeared, the older man placing a hand on Kat's shoulder as he stands behind the two teens.
"Ho ho ho, apologies. It seems my decision has surprised some of you." Wahlberg spoke plainly and calmly, fighting his grip on Kat's trembling shoulder in gentle reprimand for her previous behaviour and words. "Headmaster Wahlberg!" The crowd shouted in shock, eyes wide as they stared at the older man with the two lackmagics. "However, the final exam and the Bureau...will be what determines how they are dealt with. In the meantime, we ask for your patience, just a little while longer."
The crowd shared glances as they forced themselves to accept Wahlberg's request, the hoard of people slowly dispersing as Wahlberg lets his hand drop from Kat's shoulder and begins to speak softly to the two teens, "Mash Burnedead, Kat Ride, to find even one person in life who will speak up on your behalf is a rarity. You both have excellent friends, I'm proud of you all." He let out a small huff of a laugh as he glanced at Kat briefly, "Although threatening the public probably wasn't necessary."
