[POV CHANGE | THIRD PERSON]
Mash stands before Abyss in his exercise attire, the black skin suit and white shorts a contrasting sight as the upperclassman before him conceals his face with a white mask beautiful painted. No words are spoken as Mash rushes forward, aiming a kick at the second-years head, only to just barely miss as Abyss manages to dodge to the other side of the hallway.
His magic appears as he steps on an arrow pointing towards Mash, a sword tightly grasped in his hand as he moves quickly to behind the first-year, blood splattering as slashes appear on Mash's body. "You can't win," Abyss's voice echoes out in the corridor, his voice calm as he speaks, "Not against me, Abyss Razor, Second Fang of the Magia Lupus." Arrows appear to encircle him from behind with his introduction, the boy preparing his spell,
"Acceleraise." Abyss casts out his spell causing another arrow to appear and helps him dart forward at a fast speed, cutting Mash once more with his sword and making more blood to attach itself to the blade. It happens once more, wounds appearing all over the black haired boy's body, Abyss slowing and turning to the boy with another comment,
"Do you get it now? We're incomparable. You can continue to challenge me knowing that, but I will not go easy on you. If you–." His words are cut off by Mash, a glare on the boys face, "It doesn't matter, none of that matters. None of it." His words hold conviction as he spoke, Abyss clenching his hands into fists as he watches the younger boy,
"To live in peace with your family, was it?" He questions slowly, his figure becoming even more tense as he spoke, "How revolting. To think you could share my circumstances and still think that way, you must've been blessed." His words were ground out, the tone of his voice tight as he spoke, "Fine then, show me your best."
With those words he forms a magical hologram, Lemon appearing in the frame surrounded by chains and in the next appearing Kat, her expression exhausted and parts of her figure bleeding as she pants. Abyss speaks up once more, "This first device drains magic power, and in 30 minutes the blonde will be completely depleted. She will lose her mark and the ability to use magic forever, she will be just like you. Kat, however, doesn't appear she can last much longer, what do you think? Does this make you happy?"
His words were cold, almost mocking, as he tries to hide the waver in his own voice from his last sentence. "You can't be serious...because if you are, that mask is coming off in pieces." Mash's voice was angry as he spoke, his expression cold as he watches the hologram disappears, his fists tight as he remains observant of his opponent.
Abyss holds back a shiver at the cold tone of voice as he speaks up himself to the boy before him, "So obstinate. Very well, let's begin. Acceleraise Sphere." The spell is slipped past his lips, the words followed by a sphere of arrows circling around him and shooting the boy forward, his right arm lifting his sword up and piercing the black haired boy through.
"Anyone can spout high-minded ideals, but in the end, it's all talk. Your incapable of saving anyone, incapable of even protecting her." Abyss was sharp with his words as he began to try and pull his sword out from the younger boy's abdomen, only to get stuck in place. 'I can't pull my sword out.' The shock was present in his body language as Mash pipes from his scewered position, "Caught you."
"How...? Is he clenching his abdominal muscles?" He was still attempting to pull his sword back despite the different strength levels, Mash letting out a comment as he begins to tilt his head backwards, "My abs are pretty toned, aren't they?" The redundant question was followed by a headbutt, Mash coming into contact with Abyss's masked face, the object shattering as the upperclassman manages to move backwards, head dizzy.
Long light blue hair comes flowing down as the hood falls back, one eye completely red with a symbol embedded in the pupil, said part glowing a yellow while the other has a blue colour to it, with two lines going down his face one on each cheek, the observation clear as Abyss raises his head slowly, eyes landing on Mash, who tilts his to the side upon seeing the other boy's features. "That red eye....could it be? Are you bleeding?"
The question is met with a silence filled with disbelief, "You don't know what this eye means?" The returned question is met with denial, "Nope," the word surprising the Second Fang further. "I'm sorry." The apology was sudden, the older letting out a sigh as he once more lifts his gaze to the boy in front of him, "Don't apologize."
"'Kay." There was a long silence that filled the space for a moment before Abyss began his explanation, his eyes watching the boy before him with a guarded expression, "This eye of mine...it's called the "Evil Eye," a cursed eye that temporarily disabled the magic of all who fall under it's gaze."
His explanation felt heavy as he spoke, the disdain and disgust clear in his voice as he continues, "Magic is everything in this world, thus I am a pariah. A target of scorn." There was a brief pause before the next words are spoken, Abyss watching the boy before him in disbelief as Mash lets out with a sullen expression, "I feel kinda bad now...you can't use that eye on me at all."The words bring forth a small laugh, the second-year student eyeing the boy in front of him, "Haha, it's fine... I'm the natural enemy of all magic users, I've been feared and despised my whole life by everyone...even my parents." He turns his head downward as he spoke, his expression pained before he continues, "Though, someone as seemingly blessed as you probably can't understand what it's like to wish...you had never been born."
The words were spoken as he lifts his head up once more, expression returning to one containing aggression, a brief thought flickering through Abyss's head, 'She...probably understands.' He shook slightly as he tightens his grip on his sword, speaking out his spell with conviction in his tone, "Acceleraise Secondth - Force Field!" The usage of his stronger magic forms a dome around the two teenagers, arrows pointing every which way in the space.
An arrow also appears on Mash's abdomen, it's direction pointing downwards, causing the boy to mutter out the observation of the object. Before he could make an inquiry Abyss was already in front of him, a flurry of cuts going across his flesh and blood splattering, before Abyss returns swiftly to his distanced position. Mash had attempted to land a punch on the older boy, but his movements were sluggish, a speed at which he couldn't understand until the upperclassman spoke up once more,
"Surprised by your lack of speed? This field decreases the speed of those within it...and grants that speed to me." His explanation is what helped Mash notice the arrow pointing upwards on his opponent, the light blue haired boy rushing forward once more and unleashing another flurry of attacks, a promise leaving his lips, "You won't get me a second time. This is the end."
As he lands back at a safe distance, he watches as Mash begins to punch downward, a flash of confusion on his face as his thoughts remain concentrated on the match before him, 'What is he...?' His thoughts get answered as Mash's fist comes into contact with the stone floor, the ground breaking apart from the forceful impact, Abyss's mind flooded with surprise as he stared at the destruction before him, 'Even slowed, he can still exert this much power? But an attack like this can't stop...'
The Second Fang darts forward with his thought process, only to be caught off guard by a punch breaking the sword in his hand into two, his thoughts connecting the series of events, 'I see, he split the floor to limit my movement. I need to back off...' He attempts to move backwards only to feel a weight pressing down harshly on his foot, the weight belonging to Mash, who steps down on him roughly to pin the boy in place, the black haired boy's voice comes out, throwing Abyss's promise into his face, "Got you...a second time.
