Ch 13: Panic In The House

Chapter 13: Panic In The House

Sam and Wendy were staring at each other for what seems like an eternity, but Sam decided to speak

"Please don't run I can explain" Sam said as he turned his whole body towards the doorway were Wendy was standing

"Explain!? Your a creature that's in my neighbors house what's there to explain about!?" Wendy said as she walked in showing more aggression than fear

"Well that I'm not here to hurt anyone that's a first." Sam said as he noticed that she's eyeing something

"Oh yeah let's see how you'll handle this!" She said as she threw a figurine at Sam hitting him in the mouth

"Ow what was that for! I didn't do anything to you!" Sam said as he put his hand on his mouth

"You need to get out of here this is not the place for you!" Wendy said as she grabbed a broom nearby

"Christ your crazy!" Sam said as he ran upstairs with Wendy in pursuit

They ran around the couch and each time Wendy got close she swung the broom at Sam, but he dodged everytime

"Can't we just talk this out I don't want to hurt you!" Sam said as he dodge the broom again

"No you need to leave" She demanded

"Fine have it your way!" Sam said as he caught the broom and pulled on it hard causing Wendy to fall face first on the couch

Sam jumped on her back keeping her in place while he search for something to tie her down.

"Get off of me you brute!" She yelled, but Sam ignored her as he spotted jump rope on the floor

"Ah that'll do" Sam thought as he quickly grabbed the rope and started to bind her hands together and he made sure it was triple knotted

"There now you can't hurt me anymore now wait here" Sam said as he went to look for more jump rope

Wendy struggle with the rope around her wrist and she's starting to panic at the fact she didn't know what he's going to do with her

Sam returned with more jump rope and tied her ankles so she can't run and tell other neighbors about him

"Please don't hurt me!" Wendy yelled as she started to tear up

"Hurt you? You started this! You shouldn't hit others without context on the situation" Sam said as he sat Wendy up right on the couch

"If I wanted to hurt you I've wouldn't have ran in the first place you chased me and I defended myself" Sam continued

Wendy was crying and Sam sat there looking at the fear she's in, but he knew it was her fault that's she's bounded

" *Sigh* look... Wendy is that your name right?" Sam asked

She shook her head yes

"Okay I'm not going to harm you, you just need to calm down I did this for my safety and yours I'm pretty strong and I could hurt you pretty badly if I didn't control myself and I was about to break." Sam said

She stopped crying and stared at Sam

"I know it's natural to help defend your neighbor's house if it's being invaded by someone or an animal, but I would want context first and I'll give you context." Sam said

Two hours went by and it seems that Wendy isn't afraid of Sam after he told his side of the story and how long he had stayed here just hiding himself as he didn't know how others would react and he was right Wendy acted hostile to his presence, but he wants to build trust with the community so that they can trust him as he's an alien to them.

"Oh I'm truly sorry I didn't know." Wendy said

"It's fine I forgive you for your actions it's just I'm not like you guys, but I act the same." Sam replied

"Here let me untie you it's been awhile" Sam said as he was about to stand he noticed that they weren't alone

Bluey and Bingo were standing at the top of the stairs staring at them because it's not every day you see your neighbor tied up on your couch with your friend sitting next to them

"Hey kids what's going on?" Bandit said as he was behind them and as he reached the final step he saw what they are seeing

He was silent as he was looking at the scene trying to process what's he is looking at

"Umm Sam minding telling us what's happening here?" Bandit question

"Well as you see she's tied up at the moment" Sam said

"Yeah I see, but why is she tied up?" Bandit said

"Well while you guys were at the store Wendy came over and she had a key and opened the door and saw me and she tried to force me out of the house and she threw an object at me and hit me with a broom and I grabbed the broom and pulled her down and grabbed some jump rope nearby and tied her up." Sam said

"Wendy is this true?" Bandit asked

"Yes it's true I heard a scream and I came to check if everything is alright and I over reacted to Sam and did those things he said." Wendy said

"Well...at least no one's hurt right?" Bandit said

"No" both Sam and Wendy said

"Alright at least untie her Sam and let her go" Bandit asked

"Planing on it" Sam said as he went to untie her

Sam untied Wendy and she chatted with Bandit trying to confirm Sam's story and he confirmed it and Wendy went out on good terms with Sam, but she wants him to help around her house for the time she was held and he agreed with the deal and they went there separate ways for the day.

Night fell and Sam laid on his mat thinking about tomorrow because he did agree to help Wendy at her house, but he didn't really trust her so he's going to be on high alert for tomorrow and just like that he fell asleep.
