Ch 31: This Again

Chapter 31: This Again

Sam woke up in a void which he's familiar with which got him confused on why he's here again

"This place again? Why now?" Sam thought as he looked around the void

As he looked around he seen 3 doors all the same color of red which got him concerned

"Great red a terrible color the last time I remember" Sam thought as he went to the door on the left

Sam opened the door and just like he remembered that a bright light is at the end of the hall of the door

"This Again... here we go" Sam said as he walked into the light

Sam found himself in a town, but it wasn't peaceful at all buildings were on fire bodies of dogs and humans alike and Sam found himself in a warzone

A bullet wizz by his head which made him take cover in a alley between two buildings

"Where the hell am I!?, it's a damn warzone!" Sam thought as he ran into the alley and came across a scene

Sam found himself behind a dog with a gun pointing at another that seems familiar to him

"McKenzie?" Sam thought as this McKenzie is way younger than what he remembered

The dog with the gun pointed at McKenzie

"No! Someone help!" McKenzie cried out

Sam tried to run at the dog with the gun, but a bright flash happened and Sam found himself in the void again

"Fuck! I couldn't save him" Sam said as he stood up to the two doors

Sam opened the next door besides the door he went thought and repeated the same thing from the last door

Sam found himself in front of a house with a number of 101 in the front which made him confused

Sam had the urge to head inside, but he didn't know why, but the door was unlocked and he opened it and headed inside

He didn't know what he was looking at as he gazed apon two bodies of dogs who were dalmatians, but one is older than the other

"Jesus Christ... What happened here" Sam thought as he examine the body of the younger one as he can assumed killed themselves by slitting there arms and then started drinking it

"Is this one on drugs? Why would it drink it's own blood?" Sam thought as he went over to the older one

The older one has a knife in it's chest like it was intentional on harming it's self and Sam looked over at a table with a photo in a frame and he picked it up and looked at the image it's was the two of dalmatians who were dead

"Oh God, this must be the father and he found her dead and he wanted to join her... Christ" Sam thought as he put down the photo and looked at the corpses and then he hears noise at the door and then a bright light flashed and he found himself back in the void

Sam sat on the floor and thought about the last scene

"How could a family like that go so wrong..." Sam thought as he started to stand and walk to the final door

Sam opened the final door and walked inside and he didn't expect what he would come out to

He found himself in a field and the wind was blowing and the sun was out and it was peaceful which cought Sam's surprise

Sam looked around and found Bluey playing in the field and she noticed him and waved at him which he waved back and then she fell which made Sam rush over to her side

She was foaming at the mouth shaking sporadically and blood was coming from her eyes and then she grabbed Sam's neck with great strength and she looked him in the eyes

"We are coming for you" she said as her teeth grew out and went to bite his face

"AH!" Sam yelled as he sat up from a bed trying to catch his breath

"What the fuck was that!?" Sam said as he put his hand on his head

"A dream" a voice said

"Huh" Sam said as he looked over to see a man who's writing something down on a screen

"A dream I said it" the man replied as he looked at Sam

"Oh it's you, I remember you" Sam said as he moved over to the edge to face the man

"That you do and I want you to know that your time is not over yet you still got things to finish" The man said as he stopped writing

"What do you mean?" Sam said as he was confused

"You sacrifice yourself for your friends and family it's great, but I still need you" The man said

"You still need me? What?" Sam said

"You wouldn't understand now wake up, wake up and smell the ashes" the man said as he faded away

"Sam! Sam! Do you hear me!?" A voice can be heard

Sam opened his eyes to find himself being shaken by Zodolf as a red light is flashing

"Wh- what oh yeah I can hear you" Sam replied as he woke

"Oh thank God! we need to go we don't have that much time" Zodolf said as he picked Sam up over his shoulder

*Evacuate... Evacuate... Oxygen levels dropping and reactor reaching extreme levels* the voice on the intercom said as the two try to make to the portal

They made it to the room with the portal and then a explosion happened and knocked them off there feet

"Come on we need to go!" Zodolf said as he picked up Sam again

They reached the portal and jumped though and smoke started to come from the portal

"Close it! close it!" Smith yelled as Zodolf grabbed the control and closed the portal as the portal released a small force as the reactor blew up

Everyone breath a sigh of relief as Sam laid there next to Zodolf

"You came back to save me" Sam said

"Your my brother and we watch each other's backs

Sam chuckled at that and spoke

"Alright... I need some medical I'm hurting" Sam said as Smith picked him up

"Don't worry we got some before we left" Smith said as he placed him on a bed

Sam laid there and he went to sleep while they were treating him
