Enjoy the simple things, the things that don't cost a thing,
That bring a little joy and happiness to your life,
The rustling of the leaves, the scent of spring,
The warmth of the sun, and the sound of birds in flight.
It's easy to get caught up in the rat race of life,
The hustle and bustle that never seems to end,
But take a step back and remember what's nice,
The simple things in life that help our hearts mend.
For life is too short to get caught in the fray,
When you can experience the beauty and wonder around,
So take a deep breath, and enjoy each day,
The small things in life that are easily found.
In the end, it's these moments that matter the most,
The memories we make, the joys that we share,
So cherish the simple things, and never be lost,
In the rush of life, for they truly are rare.
