Don't wanna change the world,
just wanna change my own little part.
Make a difference, small but true,
in the lives of those I impart.
A smile, a kind word, a helping hand,
a listening ear when they need to vent.
Simple things can mean so much,
it's the little acts that are heaven-sent.
I may not have the power,
to make the whole world brand new.
But if I can affect one life,
my purpose as a human is true.
So I'll keep on doing what I can,
to bring hope and love to those I meet.
For in the end, it's not about changing the world,
but about making my own corner complete.
