Something in my heart beats fast,
A feeling I just cannot surpass.
It's like a flutter, a rush, a surge,
A melody that I cannot purge.
It sings a song of love and joy,
Of moments shared without decoy,
Of hope and faith that never fade,
Of memories that have been made.
It tells a tale of life and laughter,
Of dreams that come happily ever after,
Of the power of a simple smile,
And the beauty of walking that extra mile.
Something in my heart is alive,
A fire that I cannot deny.
It's the essence of my being,
The light that keeps me from fleeing.
So let it beat, let it guide,
Through the ups and downs of this ride,
For in the end, it's something true,
A part of me, forever renewed.
